It is rare to find good, decent service these days, but at Antwerpen Hyundai in Catonsville, that is exactly what I received. I had been in touch via email with Rob May a few days prior to meeting him in person, and eventually buying a 2013 Elantra. The entire experience was painless, and I felt that Rob really listened to me, and was attentive my situation. He understood how dire my need was for a new car; my 2000 Elantra was on its last leg with a transmission issue. But he was not pushy or off-putting in anyway. What impressed me the most, was that even with a credit issue, he and entire Antwerpen team worked with my husband and I to solidify a deal, so that I could drive off the lot with a new, reliable car that night. Having dependable transportation is priceless and provides solid peace of mind. The entire staff provided that, and treated me like a person, not a credit score. I was purchasing my second Elantra that night, so I am already a loyal Hyundai customer; and now I am a loyal Antwerpen Hyundai customer. The experience took less than three hours in total, and in that time I was introduced to Stacey, who provided me with a tour of the service area. She was also very professional and stated I should call her if I have any service/after market questions. Ricci in Finance was also great; she answered all the questions we had, and made the paperwork process the quickest part of all. At the end of the deal, Rob took the time to show me the features of the car, and even paired my phone with the Bluetooth--a very nice gesture, indeed. I highly recommend buying a car through this location. You will not be disappointed! Thanks again!! More

My car only has 22,000miles and bought 2009, firstly he lied to me I only have 36K warranty, the 5yr/60K is only basic warranty. I called Hyundai immediately, the Hyundai told me they are lying and told me I have full 5yr/60K warranty. Then this Tim Shipe told me the warranty does not cover the broken lugnut. I asked why did you told me my car is out of warranty at first, he then told me "you are one step away from being thrown out". In the whole process, I did not see any improper words or dirty words. It is a real nightmare, I will never buy Hyundai again. I bought a brand new 2009 model in Feb 2009, but the warranty start from Oct 2008 with less than 10 miles. I drived A car but finally they give me a B car I am using which has less than 10 miles. They are not honest and recommend too many services to me when I did oil change last time two years ago so I never do oil change again with them except the repair and now get such result. More

I recently inquired over the internet about a Hyundai Tuscon.Rob May responded promptly to my request.After visiting another dealer,and test driving a kia,i wasn't sure that was the vehicle i really want Tuscon.Rob May responded promptly to my request.After visiting another dealer,and test driving a kia,i wasn't sure that was the vehicle i really wanted.Something told me to give Antwerpen Hyundai a shot.Man i am glad i did!.I formally owned a toyota tundra,and was looking to get something more economical and of course,just as reliable.I contacted Rob May,and set up an appointment for after work.When i entered the dealer,a staff member took me to meet Rob.I was taken back that he remembered in my e-mail that my credit was NOT GOOD,and he said lets not worry about that now,lets look at the vehicle you are interested in then go from there,NO PRESSURE!.We test drove a Tucson GLS,it was very nice.I wanted a little bit more,as far as add on's,so when we got back from the test drive Rob took me in the back lot,and showed me all the different models.We then went back in the dealership to look at pricing.Rob wrote down all the pricing for the different models,and asked me if he could get me a deal would i take it.I decided,Hey this guy has been great,so why not take a shot and see what they can do.I don't have good credit,and this was holding me back from purchasing a new vehicle.Rob assured me the finance guy had great dealings with Hyundai Motor Credit,and would do a great job for me.It took a little while,BUT WHO CARES,THEY GOT ME A GREAT RATE FOR HAVING BAD CREDIT!!!!!!!!!!!.Don't believe that you can't get a car because you have had credit issues,YOU CAN!.Plain and simple go see Rob May at Antwerpen Hyundai,and he will take great care of you,and give you one thing lacking in america,CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!.Thanks Mark B. I found Antwerpen Hyndai initially on line during my search for a Tucson. Rob contacted me within a few minutes and I scheduled an appointment for Monday, 4/30. I called back Saturday morning because I wanted to come in and look at the inventory and discuss my finance options. Rob was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles that we looked at and was very receptive to my needs. He didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need or hadn't inquired about. He made the process very smooth and amazingly quick. I was only in the dealership about 2.5 hours (if that) and I was able to get all of the needed information and choose my vehicle. He walked me through the service department and introduced me to the service manager and they both explained to me the maintenance program and showed me where to go and what to do when I bring the vehicle in for maintenance. I also worked with Darlington regarding financing. He was very helpful and took the time to explain the many pages of paperwork. My overall experience with Antwerpen Hyundai was fantastic! I had recently been to another dealer the day before and had an awful experience, so I was hesitant and guarded upon arriving at Antwerpen. I will certainly recommend this dealership to friends and family in the future. More
