What a great experience it was buying a car - and you sure don't hear that often. Marvin was terrific, so knowledgeable, respecful and courteous. They worked hard to achieve a competitive deal. I went to this shop to diagnose a Mitsubishi. The diagnosis is a thorough one and the technician is awesomely professional. He knows the car like the back of his hands. It doesn't seem like the new car was prepped. When we put up the rear seats, they plastic was waded up on the seat. The rear headrest were still covered in plastic. While we ended up purchasing a new 2011 RDX from the dealership, there were numerous times throughout the lengthy negotiation process that I was willing to walk away from the deal. I stuck with it solel dealership, there were numerous times throughout the lengthy negotiation process that I was willing to walk away from the deal. I stuck with it solely because this dealership is geographically convenient for us and their service has been excellent throughout the now 10+ years we have bought and driven Acuras from this dealership. The sales process was, by far, the most drawn out car buying experience I have ever gone through. Beginning with an intial offer on our trade-in (a vehicle that had been completely serviced throughout it's time by Antonino)that was significantly lower than KBB (or any other) valuation, this sort of thing kept creeping back in to the process, such as the insistence that the deal could only be done for a vehicle on their lot. From start to finish, the process dragged on for more than 3 weeks. In the end, we agreed to a deal that was exactly what I had wanted to reach before I set foot in their showroom in January. As noted by another reviewer on this site, it appears that the sales folks at Antonino do not have any real authority to make a deal and that it all rests with the sales manager and/or GM. If that is true then I know who to be annoyed at for needlessly taking up so much of my time. So while I could not give an unequivical 'Yes' at the question of recommendation, I would say that 'no' is also not correct either. 'Maybe' would be the correct responce, based on whether the buyer has done his/her homework and knows what they want and what they are willing to pay for it and hold their ground throughout. More
I was very satisfied with the interface with service rep Brian and the work preformed on my 2005 MDX. I was not happy with the price for replacement of the torque converter. I have used this dealership twice in the last few weeks. I am very pleased with the quality of service, the proffesional courtesy and respect that was extended to me.
