Worst car dealership ever!!! Mind you some of the scores would be lower if they would have gone negative! Worst car dealer ship I have ever dealt with, this includes used car dealerships too!!! We just b would be lower if they would have gone negative! Worst car dealer ship I have ever dealt with, this includes used car dealerships too!!! We just bought a Brand New 2012 Jeep Wrangler. All was good until we went back to get the damages that were on the vehicle when we took delivery, fixed after purchase. We bought a special edition Jeep. So here is what was wrong and what was promised that was going to get fixed.... The sticker on the hood was clearly cut off, likely to "remedy it from pealing". The rear floor carpet was also missing a corner, again told no problem this would be taken care of. The back tailgate was cut and scratched as they quickly took the other dealership sticker. From what we gather our truck was a dealer trade. Since there was another dealerships sticker on the car and around 300 miles on it when we took delivery. So lets speed ahead, we now own the Jeep and boy did that change everything!!!! We stop in at the dealership today and get the worst run around ever, "I don't see this, I don't see that, that is no big deal, why does it matter?, let us put some compound on that (referring to the scratches in the paint)". We were actually told "Seriously, if I tell my manager that he is going to laugh at you.". So that is how this continues to go.... So after all this they say they need to submit the sticker and carpet for warranty an will be 2-3 weeks before they have an answer, and then what? Maybe they will fix what they already promised. They need to have our Jeep to change a floor mat? I said I would galdly put the sticker on myslef as I did not trust their staff with razorblades and my Jeep any longer. As on the way home the night we bought the Jeep I found the razor blade left in the floor mat with my foot while driving, I was wearing sandals. They said they would have to do this, quote "They would need to send it to a body shop to have the sticker replaced, you know, to get the glue off and stuff". Wow, that is crazy. This makes more sense when we get to the back door. We talk to the service manager about the back door cuts and scratches. He quickly places blame on the porters. This must mean he can see it, right? Since the porters did this, he tells us that this is not his problem, quote "You need to go talk to your salesman to have him ok the fix". Not sure how the salesman has control over this, but off we go to get our sales man.... So then our saleman says that he can not see anything. He doesn't know what we are talking about. He is at this point becoming very rude and cocky, anbasicald then basiclly tells us to f-off and get lost. Even worse than that the sales manager came out to confirm the rude and cocky attitude telling us we were out of our minds. As for the back door, they will not fix the paint, they said they would buff it out or we were SOL. But they say they would need my Jeep to be dropped off, so it can be sent to a body shop to get a sticker replaced. Mind you this is a small sticker, like 10x4 inches. But appearently they do not want to have anything to do with fixing the paint cuts and scratches, that some can see and others can not. Must be a ufo. Our brand new car, had several scratched on it from their workers, as they say that was the porters fault (Oh so you do see it now) so it is not the service departments or sales department issue. The sales man, sales manager and service department all then go back and say they can not see it, but they will buff it out. So shady, what a run around. They see it to blame it on the porters, dont see it when it needs to be fixed, and now the customer gets stiffed. Wow, can you say fraud. Then when we start raising a stink that no one will help, we asked to talk to the owner, and were told we need to go thru the chain of command, really what is this the army? Then pressing this harder, to get our brand new Jeep fixed, mind you with 778 miles on it, remember half were there on delivery. We get threatened that if we don't leave they are calling the police. Now that is some customer service. Wouldn't want all the shoppers to hear about this would you!!!! Now I am stuck fixing this all on my own! Hopefully this also being sent to Jeep with the recipts from another parts department, will help them understand just how bad this stealership is riuning the reputation of Jeep!!!! SHOPPERS BE CAREFUL - DO NOT GO TO ANITOCH JEEP IN ILLINOIS!!! More
I looked for a lot of cars on line. I went on several different websites to find the car I was looking for. I finally find the car and it leads me to this dealer in the middle of nowhere. I get there aft different websites to find the car I was looking for. I finally find the car and it leads me to this dealer in the middle of nowhere. I get there after work one day, they have me wait about two hours and they tell me it's late that they'll call me the next day to put a deal together. Four days later nothing yet. Although I called everyday and nothing. They don't know where my paperwork is, they transfer me from one sales man to another, to the finance guy, he said that the other finance guy had my info & that if I was willing to stop by again. Terrible service, horrible follow up. This is why dealers get the reputation they get for places like this. I would seriously advice to read reviews before stopping by this place, the prices are low because there's no way they get repeat business. More
I would NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone. My fiancé and I went in there June 8th of this year to get a vehicle. Mine was totaled in a hit and run. We got a approved the same day in and out we ha fiancé and I went in there June 8th of this year to get a vehicle. Mine was totaled in a hit and run. We got a approved the same day in and out we had all the paperwork signed and out the door with $1000.00 down. We got a call four weeks later that they needed further verification and maybe need a cosigner. I am like are you kidding me I went and sold my old car which was still drivable but I knew would cause major problems down the road. So we went in there on a Friday when they called us they went back and forth showing us other vehicles with NO approval. They send us home and ask if we can come in the next week and we say sure, we had no choice. We come back the next week we weren't approved for sure we needed a cosigner and I couldnt believe it my aunt couldn't cosign till the next day. I had military duty the next day flying out at 7:00 am the next morning but they KEPT our car and basically they made the mistake and I had to suffer. I will not recommend them to ANY person, family or especially military soldiers. We were not treated well and they are lucky I put $1000 down or I would have went else where. Please please save your self time, money and everything. From start to finish no lie I spent 14 hours at this dealership of my time. It wasn't worth one hour of my time. By the way they blamed it on the bank. They should have NEVER have us the vehicle and called us a month later if we weren't approved. We have the car now but ONLY cause I put that money down and after a month I can't exactly get it back!!! NEVER again More
On 01/15/2010, my husband and I went to Antioch Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership and bought a 2008 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab truck. Before purchasing the truck, I asked the sales person, Al, if the truck was ever Dodge Jeep Dealership and bought a 2008 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab truck. Before purchasing the truck, I asked the sales person, Al, if the truck was ever in an accident. He said "No." I then asked him to show me proof. He showed me a carfax report stating that the car was owned previously by an individual and had no accidents. I asked if I could keep that report and he said no and took the report in a hurry. We took his word for it, trusting that the dealership would never commit fraud. On 04/21/2011, we took the truck into a dealership, The Honda Zimbrick in Madison Wisconsin, to trade it in for another vehicle. The dealership told us that because the truck was in an accident previously, they could not give us full trade-in value. They said they originally were going to give us $17,500 for it but instead were gracious enough to pay off our loan of $16,300. So we lost $1200 because Antioch Chrysler Dodge Jeep lied and committed fraud against us. Today, April 21st, was the first day we had ever learned the truck was ever in an accident!! First they lied about it not being in an accident. Second, they lied about its previous owner being an individual instead of a business/rental car and third they gave false documents to us about the vehicle. They are a very dishonest business and we want to be compensated!!!! More
I went there for a particular vehicle. They let me drive it on a 15 mile test drive! I wound up buying a different vehicle but this was absolutely the best car buying experience I ever had in my life. No it on a 15 mile test drive! I wound up buying a different vehicle but this was absolutely the best car buying experience I ever had in my life. No pressure, no gimmicks, no games. They even took my picture standing next to my car and then gave me a nice calendar with my car picture on it! Awesome dealer. More
Not Child Friendly !!!!!! My 3 yr old daughter and I Not Child Friendly !!!!!! My 3 yr old daughter and I waited for six hours form 11am to 5pm while this dealer held my keys captive and would not all Not Child Friendly !!!!!! My 3 yr old daughter and I waited for six hours form 11am to 5pm while this dealer held my keys captive and would not allow us to leave even to get lunch despite my repeated requests to be allowed to take my car or any car to go get her some lunch. All this waiting just to have an agreed upon deal constantly manipulated and changed. In the end I had to forcebly demand my keys back just to be able to leave. I dont recomend this dealership for buying a car especialy if you have kids. The salespeople even sat and ate their ordered in lunch in front of us with no regard or consideration for my 3 yr old. This dealer also has no contact info on their website other than an address and phone number so the only way to voice your concern to them directly is to call them up and engage in a verbal confrontation to which they just deny everything. I bought a used car from them that was supposedly put through a complete service. 8 miles down the road, I noticed a leak. I took it in to a dealer nearer my home who was familiar with that vehicle, an through a complete service. 8 miles down the road, I noticed a leak. I took it in to a dealer nearer my home who was familiar with that vehicle, and he ended up doing almost $700 worth of work to bring it back up to the level I was told the car was already at. I notified the general manager, and he said they had no responsibility to me since I opted to take it to another dealer. When I explained to him that I didn't trust the quality of their work since the stuff I needed to get fixed was basic things that should have been caught during their service, he again stated that he had no responsibility. He then threatened to notify the police if I bothered him about it again. Never Never Never again. I have had three Chryslers in the last 4 years, to include a PT Cruiser, Sebring JXI, and Fifth Ave. Done with Chrysler, done with Antioch Dodge. Never again, and that is exactly what everybody I speak to in my position as general manager of an international firm will hear. DONE More
