Horrible Car buying experience When we walked into the dealership we were greeted by Janai Carroll and she was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely helpful and professional. It was when we started the paperwork and everything after that made my experience with Bayside Nissan a nightmare. I signed my finance paperwork and left that day with my vehicle. I got a call 3 days later that I had to resign the paperwork that something was incorrect, I came in and signed that paperwork and went on my way. I then noticed my vehicle was leaking fluid. I made an appointment and they advised me that I struck something causing $1000 worth of damage(I had barely owned the vehicle for a week). They agreed to fix the issue because I just purchased the vehicle. A month after I purchased this vehicle I went to make my first payment at the bank that I have my loan through and they advised my loan was still pending because Bayside Nissan did not send over the buyers agreement. Now for a THIRD time I had to travel out of my way to sign the same finance paperwork for a third time and hope that my loan went through. I do not live or travel in the area of the dealership and it was a great inconvenience. I would not recommend this dealership if you are looking for a stress free car buying experience! More

Stress free Before going to Bayside Nissan Dealership, I had gone to a few other dealerships. I was very discouraged by the way I was treated by the sales manager Before going to Bayside Nissan Dealership, I had gone to a few other dealerships. I was very discouraged by the way I was treated by the sales manager of the other dealerships. I test drove a 2014 Altima at another Nissan Dealership and was close to buying it. I told the manager that my deal breaker to purchase a car was to not exceed the $15,000 bank check that I got from my bank. The Altima list price was $13,000. With taxes, the cost was $15,900. This didn't include the warranty and/or GAP insurance. The manager was willing to drop the price down to $15,400. I told the manager that I would come back. He was concerned about if I was going somewhere else to look at other vehicles. The store manager was very unprofessional toward me, stating, "I dropped the price down for you, You made a deal." I was turned off with his behavior toward me. Bruce Derthick, was very nice. He allowed me to take my time (no rush). He allowed me to test drive a black 2015 Nissan Sentra. I bought that vehicle that evening from Bruce. I really like my new car! Bruce is cool as a fan! He was the best Host and salesman. 2 Thumbs up for great customer service! Thank you! More
