Worst Customer Service by Service Front Desk I needed a diagnostic run on my new 2020 vehicle and when I called in to schedule an appointment, I was told that diagnostic appointments are only don I needed a diagnostic run on my new 2020 vehicle and when I called in to schedule an appointment, I was told that diagnostic appointments are only done on weekdays. So I scheduled service appointment for a Thursday, requested a shuttle ride, and took time off from work to drop the car off. When I get to the front desk, the lady found my appointment and asked me what the issue was. Upon explaining the issue I was told since this issue would require driving the car around and traffic at this time is bad, we won't be able to check it for you today. When I asked why diagnostic appointments aren't done on weekends then, the lady tells me they are only done on weekdays (but not the weekday I scheduled the appointment for). When I insisted, she said she will get it looked at but won't be able to offer shuttle because they are running low on shuttle drivers and they don't go more than 10 miles away and hence can't drop me off. I owned a Toyota before this car and the dealership that's literally next door has the same 10 miles policy and I always got a shuttle ride because I was within 10 miles of the Toyota dealership. I was told not to buy a Hyundai because it is a cheaper brand and the customer service at this dealership is a proof of just that. Don't make the mistake I made and stay away from this dealership and Hyundai in general. More
I am a first time Hyundai owner and my check engine light came on at 2200 miles. Jacob was helpful open and honest, three traits that can be rare in the car business.
