I had the same issue as others above: Sales say free oil changes and then want to charge more for the synthetic that is standard for the car. The work was done and done correctly (I believe). The loaner car and rentals were not available so I had to Take a Lift/Uber home and one back. What was supposed to be a free oil change with my new 2021 Hyundai cost me $90. When I complained to the Sales Manager (Kevin) he said there was nothing he could do. One of the sales gimics was 3 free oil changes and tire rotation. Oh, free BUT not if you put synthetic oil in, which isn't in my sales papers anywhere. I stated unless corrected this he would never see my face in this dealership again. I noted that my own service mechanic doesn't charge me $90 to change to oil in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Shortly after I left the dealership, I receive a phone call from the Service Manager, Karen, who could not have been more apologetic. She refunded my money and indicated this would never happen again. Kevin could have corrected the situation but chose not to. If not for Karen doing the right thing, I would never return to this Hyundai dealership again. But now, thanks to her, I will...providing she is still here! Point is...you have a great product...why not stand behind it instead of trying to nickel and dime a new customer who just spent $$$thousands on a new Hyundai. Oh, the "loner car" that was advertised by the salesman to be available when dropping the car off for maintenance...another falsehood! This is why many people, like me, do not trust car dealerships but would rather take our cars to a time-trusted local mechanic. Stand behind what you say and advertise. Thanks Karen for being a stand-up person with integrity. My rating is for the Service Center Manager...not the dealership. More
