Under staffed and poor communication. I had to actually go to service office to get update on status of car. I left several voicemails for several days. I'm really sad that Jacob is no longer at the dealership. Service is not as good as it use to be but it's still very good. The biggest complaint is that it's very tough to get someone to answer calls and I Service is not as good as it use to be but it's still very good. I also hate that I have to schedule an appointment 2 or more months in advance for regular service. I'm not sure when I will be ready for service. I still drive over 1 hr and over 50 miles to go to them even though there are dealerships closer to where I live. So far I'm happy with the service. More

A squeaking issue in my brand new vehicle was reported to Annapolis Hyundai shortly after I purchased it. The management and staff of Annapolis Hyundai were amazing in addressing the issue in a timely, trans Annapolis Hyundai shortly after I purchased it. I had to have my car serviced. I was told that it would take 3 weeks, which I understood, and was fine with. However, after 3 going on 4 weeks my car still wasn't examined. Duri I was told that it would take 3 weeks, which I understood, and was fine with. However, after 3 going on 4 weeks my car still wasn't examined. During that time, the check engine information wasn't even examined, so my choices were limited as to what to do about my car. I wasn't even offered a loaner, or rental. I was told in reference to the loaner, "Your car will be examined long before a rental would be available." Cold comfort, that. After nearly a month, I ultimately towed my car to a nearby Jiffy Lube, they did the diagnostic--which took only five minutes (free of charge), and then I had my car towed to, and serviced, with Hyundai of Glen Burnie. I was offered a rental/loaner, and my car was ultimately fixed free of charge due to a recall that could've been diagnosed nearly a month prior. Poor counsel, and poor follow up was, unfortunately, all I got through your Annapolis office. If I was given the option of taking my car to another Hyundai earlier in the process? I certainly would have taken heed of that guidance. I'm in customer service myself, and I genuinely take no "Karen" delight in offering this review. More
If i could give 0 stars that would be more respectful for this situation. Mike Mayfield and his service team had my vehicle for TWO weeks AND were unable to fix it. Constantly directed me to go elsewhere bec this situation. Mike Mayfield and his service team had my vehicle for TWO weeks AND were unable to fix it. Constantly directed me to go elsewhere because his team was not equipped to fix the issue. Even went as far as telling me nothing was wrong with the vehicle nor was the check engine light on. I went the same day after Rachel notified me that there was nothing wrong with my car nor was a check engine light on ... and lord and behold once I started the car the check engine light was on (video can be provided and Sabrina the Showroom coordinator confirmed it). I took the car to Bob Bell's Hyundai (Glen Burnie) and they were able to diagnose my car within 12 hours of having it (something that took Annapolis 2 weeks to do and still unable to diagnose it) AND repairing the issue within 48 hours, something Hyundai of Annapolis couldn't do. Also for there being no issue, Mike's team falsely called the police on me after video footage stating that he felt no threat from me or towards his team but understood my frustration as an upset customer. Mike Mayfield also reneged on his agreement to pay for the labor fee for my vehicle to be fixed (after stated several times via email and in person as well as video). I've also reached out to Hyundai corporate to try to get some kind of resolution from the inconvenience that has been caused and I understand why their stores are the way they are. They show their customers no empathy. Just like Mike did to get me out the way and bribe me with "paying my labor fees" , the corporate offered me $200 for my "inconvenience" which doesn't amount to the money I had to spend on rental due to not being able to get a loaner or even rental help. Overall, with this experience, I will NEVER do business with Mike and his team again. What for some, not for all. I appreciate Ryan and his team at Bob Bell and their fast speedy service to get myself and my family back on the road in a safe, reliable car. More
