When I first visited there in April 2012, I was greeted by sales rep George Sparks with a smile an I cannot be more pleased with this dealership! When I first visited there in April 2012, I was greeted by sales rep George Sparks with a smile and handshake. I only went in to get a book on the newly redesigned 2012 Azera and to see if they had any on their lot during my lunch hour, so I was not interested in sticking around at the time to chat. And I figured I would come back if I was interested later. George was very intuitive that something was not quite right by how guarded I was. I only gave my first name and why I was in there and that I was on my lunch hour. He said to me, let me earn your trust, and, how can I do that? Not only did he earn my trust, he sold me a car! I bought my new Azera on 7/03/12 and cannot be more pleased with the car, or the people at the dealership! I feel like family there! I had originally bought my new 2005 Hyundai XG-350-L at a dealership in Clarksville, MD and was very loyal to them for almost 8 years and had my car serviced thru them and anything else that I needed for the car, such as wipers, etc. But when it came time for me to get a new Hyundai, I naturally went back there. I was so disappointed in them and their game-playing that I left and swore never to go back! Apparently my loyalty meant nothing to them all this time. And their game playing and their word means nothing. I walked away three times from their so called deals.... So, this is why I was guarded when I walked thru the doors of Annapolis Hyundai. I did not know what to expect and certainly did not want them calling me or anything until I was ready to actually shop or buy. I never felt pressured or pushed into buying something I did not want. But George was very kind and very professional and made things simple and easy going for me. And I know that I did not make it so easy for him. And George, for that I truly apologize..... I was not quite sure what I wanted. I knew what I liked, but was not sure if I wanted something for better gas mileage, or room, or what....So George took me test driving on a few different vehicles until I was sure it was the Azera that I wanted. He never seemed to have lost patience with me, no matter how many questions, or how many vehicles that I test drove, or how much of his time that I took. If he did, he did not show it and that makes him a professional for sure. George Sparks made sure that I knew how everything worked on my new car, what to expect with my new car and where everything was situated before leaving the parking lot. He spent a great deal of time with me going over everything. He's a good sales rep. He also made sure that I knew there was no longer a spare tire, but a repair like kit instead in the trunk, so I would not think that I was ripped off or that it was stolen. I also have to praise Andy Katz for his untiring hunt for this car for me. I have missed out on three others, but not because any of their doings. Andy was not going to give up and he did not! And I have to thank Billy Sadtler for finding every possible financial avenue for the best rate and deal for my financing of this car. They all want you to be happy there and it shows too. There was a car at the Route 40 dealer that Andy had called for on 7/02/12 to secure for me that he found, and they are the same dealer as the one in Clarksville, MD that I mentioned earlier. It seems that Annapolis Hyundai and the Route 40 dealer were to make a switch of Azera's so I could get the Bronze Mist one that I wanted. Only when Annapolis Hyundai went to do the trade, the Route 40 dealer sold the car, knowing that Annapolis Hyundai was trading it! How dirty and underhanded! Again, this dealer must not care about their integrity or caring that their word means nothing! This is very poor business and salesmanship at the least! I was so disappointed in them! I'm so glad I did not go thru them again! I feel very happy with the deal that I received from Annapolis Hyundai and they have earned my trust and certainly will refer others to them. I will only be loyal to them now! Thank you George Sparks, Andy Katz and Billy Sadtler, you're a great team! More
Mr. Brookman was very friendly and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and was accommodating and respectful during the price deliberation part of the process. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and he stayed late and completed the deal at our pace. He has already followed up with me to see how things are working out. The paperwork phase of the process was also good at this dealership. Everything was explained thoroughly and I did not experience any pressure during the signature phase as I have in the past at other dealerships. I would recommend this dealership to others. I hope that my experience with the service department there will be just as pleasant. More
When I purchased the car I was never informed that the car did not come with a spare tire or floor mats. During financing the manager interrupted several times to tell the guy to hurry up. It made me feel VERY uncomfortable and they forgot to have us sign a paper. My brand new car had scratches all over it, which they did fix, but I had to go out of my way to the dealership and was never compensated for my time. I got a flat tire a few weeks into my purchase. It could not be fixed because there was no key for the wheel locks. I called the dealership and asked for a manager to call me back as soon as possible to decide what to do. After waiting for FOUR hours at the service place, I emailed my salesperson and he called me. He then implied that I lost the key! I still have not heard from a manager. The mechanic decided to just break the wheel lock off and give me a regular lug nut so he could plug the tire. I went to the dealership the next day and a manager apologized and they gave me all new wheel locks and a key. Again, they never offered me compensation for THEIR mistake. I had to wait over an hour for the new wheel locks. The service manager told me that they did not put the wheel locks on - thy came with them - and that they never checked my car to see if it had a key - I did not lose the key George! The service department told me that I needed oil changes every 3,750 miles but my book said 7,000. They told me that MD was considered a "hazard" driving state and they would not honor my warranty without it. I called the main Hyundai number and requested, and received it in writing, that he was wrong and I would be fine with every 7,000 miles. I would NOT trust this service department with any of my vehicles! They are liars. I used to own a Nissan and LOVED my dealership and had my husband and sister buy cars from them. I would only tell my worst enemy to buy a car from this dealership. I love my car but not this dealership. More

This is the dealership to go to! Our experience was THE most pleasant experience EVER in buying a car. We have a Hyundai Santa Fe and love it, so we wanted a 2nd one. My husband ( a bit of researcher-bud most pleasant experience EVER in buying a car. We have a Hyundai Santa Fe and love it, so we wanted a 2nd one. My husband ( a bit of researcher-budget guy) went on the internet and got five dealerships to respond. We live in two states, we have cash and we are not in any hurry. We were wandering through the Annapolis Hyundai on a Sunday (when they are closed) and we spotted this Santa Fe we really liked. Here comes Paul Brookman (remember the dealership is closed on Sunday) walking through the lot and offered to answer any questions - low key, no pressure, handed us his card. So my husband, Mike knew we really liked the 2012 Santa Fe, did his internet research pricing stuff, and send emails out. Well, Annapolis wasnt't the lowest price (at first) and wasn't the first the respond. Mike and Paul did connect, bantered back and forth (Paul has a great sense of humor; and Mike challenged him to"shave" the price a bit and from there they were talking electric razor vs straight edge....) When another dealership offered a lower price, Annapolis Hyundai, through Paul, didn't just match it, they beat it! And, threw in extras that we didn't have interest in (because of price) and, of course, we certainly took. Paul was great to work with, no games, no smooze, just here is the price. Oh, he also knew the car. Personal aside here, my husband usually knows more about the vehicle we want to purchase than the salesperson, so the fact that Paul knew the vehicle as well as Mike did, was impressive to my not so easily impressed husband. Oh, and I have to mention that after the price quote, we said we wanted to title and tag in a different state (not deliberately, we weren't whether the vehicle would stay in MD) Even though the other state's title and tag costs were more, Annapolis Hyundai, through Paul and General Sales Manager Andy Katz, covered the cost and keep the original price they quoted us and "ate" the difference. Andy is great too. He is a friendly guy who helps his team out wherever he can. He is very visible and he is not the "hard sell" guy. So, then the financing. We were going to pay cash, but when you can get three years at zero financing, why? Billy Sadtler, the Business Manager, was delightful to work with on the paperwork and helped us understand the optional warranties. Did you know that Hyundai offers coupons on the internet? Billy does. When I mentioned to Paul that I hoped "my" vehicle would be covered overnight while we completed the deal, the vehicle was in the bay, was washed and had a full tank of gas. Paul also connected both our phones to the vehicle before we left the lot (oh, and of course, he went over all the manual, pointed out the road side assistance that Hyundai provides, etc. The people at the Annapolis dealership are friendly, they work together and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Paul worked very hard to keep every one involved happy with their deal. Arriving at the point of signing the paper work (the finance office) o.k this is usually were your great deal,you just received on your car,doesn't seem like a great deal any longer after they try talk you into the extended warranty!and so on, Not here...John Williams,the general manger, really took good care of me, was not pushy or aggressive trying to tack on the extras.I did go with the manufactures warranty packet,since they kept me way below my original monthly payment.....Great job! to the whole team, at the Hyundai of Annapolis, special thanks to John Williams and Paul Brookman, you have all my future business.....I love my 2011 Hyundia Sonata..... Paul Brookman made my car buying experience as painless as possible. After several emails with Paul looking for a 2013 Sonata Limited he emailed me a quote along with which colors were available. After going to the dealership to see and drive the car, Paul explained the whole car and options to me in full detail. He never applied any pressure on me to buy. After having my trade in appraised he worked the price to make me happy. I was also very impressed with the financing process. I filled in the loan application online sitting at Paul's computer and within 30 minutes, John Williams, the General Manager, called me in to sign the papers to take my new car home with me. Our experience at Annapolis Hyundai was outstanding. We met with Paul Brookman intially to test drive a used vehicle but unfortunately the vehicle was transferred to another dealer and sold. Paul assured me that he could find another vehicle with the same features and would have it brought in but in the meantime he suggested test driving the same make and model, just a different exterior color. As it turned out we did not like the interior color we intially selected and was open to considering another color choice. We settled on a sporty shimmer white 2013 Elantra and we were very pleased with the deal that was worked out. Paul was very professional and a delight to work with. No pressure and anwsered all of our questions. Going through the loan paperwork with Billy Sadtler was great too. He was very organized and expalined things very clearly. We appreciated how he did not try to pressure or intimidate us into buying extras. He simply informed us of the options and respected our decisions. Buying a new vehicle was a breeze and by Sunday we were driving a new Hyundai! More
