It started by him following up with us unexpectedly as we never really expressed any interest in buying a Hyundai but had asked him a few q new car. His follow up call came on a Saturday morning the day after my wife and I just went through a terrible week long experience with a Toyota dealer. Scott listened to us and responded very quickly to our questions and needs. He also was very knowledgeable and willing to assist us in any way possible. My wife normally does not like salepersons but thinks very highly of Scott. That is probably the best testimony we can give. More

Drew was always asking us if he could get us a cup of coffee, always making sure we were comfortable. George, who we have worked with before, has always been top notch to us. He listened to what we wanted and directed us to Chris, our salesman. Between the two of them they helped us find the 2014 Sonata we wanted down to every last detail. They didn't have one in stock but searched and found the car we wanted from another dealer. We had it the next day! Chris was so pleasant to work with, he made us feel right at home and comfortable. That was important to us. We agreed on the price which we felt was very reasonable, it was a great deal. One of the best buying experiences we have ever had from start to finish, even the financing department. Thank you, we are so happy with our purchase. From the time I called for my appointment, Jacob was amazing. He gave me the appointment and when I brought my car in, he greeted me by name. I laughed and said the only other thing I had was the shovel marks the young man who cleaned my car off after the last snow storm left. We had a little more small talk about the horribly cold winter and all the snow storms, and I left. When he called me to tell me my car was ready to be picked up, he told me he had a surprise for me. When I got to the dealership, I saw my car. I walked over and not only was it cleaned beautifully, ALL of the scratches on the hood were gone! I went into the service office and told Jacob how pleased I was. I had had the car through the car wash several times and those marks did NOT come off. Jacob told me they buffed them out after they serviced the car. As usual, Annapolis Hyundai exceeded my expectations!!! More
I do not normally write reviews but with Annapolis Hyundai I had to make an exception! I causally went browsing their web site and emailed about a possible used car for sale. Several days elapsed and I seriously began to investigate several available vehicles. I called and spoke to John S who was friendly, "real", honest and not condescending to a female. I appreciated his candor, forth rightness, and patience with me. We came to a deal over the phone and I was quite excited. John called me back after several minutes and informed me that the car had been sold. I thought to myself "Oh brother these guys must have their heads up their you know what's !" Much to my surprise John stated wait let me look for you and found another car and priced it out right then and there. I did my due diligence and searched the internet for a fair market value and John had come in under it!! I called back to finish what I could over the phone and went in two hours later. These gentleman were all marvelous; John, Drew, and Linson right from the start. I was treated respectfully and efficiently. I expected nothing for the "clunker" I drove in with and appreciated getting some trade in value. Linson was wonderful to me and I enjoyed talking to him about subjects other than cars. Drew took me back and showed me the service department where I met the manager and again he was pleasant, informative, and down to earth. I hold myself to very high standards in my profession and I can honestly state that all of the individuals I met exceeded my expectations with their service! Our hunt for a new car was a very pleasant experience at Hyundai of Annapolis. Christopher assisted us in finding the new car that we purchased on the 10th of Feb. We had looked at some other dealerships but after driving several vehicles, we decided to purchase the 2013 Hyundai Genesis. Christopher was such a gentleman and truly wanted us to be happy with our car. He explained everything to us and has the patience of a saint. He introduced us to Drew, the general manager ( also a very friendly and polite gentleman). We were very pleased with the treatment we received by everyone at Annapolis Hyundai. These people seem to really care about their customers and we would highly recommend Annapolis Hyundai as the place to go for your new car. Ron & Judy More
At 52K miles, my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 AWD developed a persistent knocking noise up front while under acceleration. We had visited another dealership and had a very unpleasant experience. We contacted Hyundai of Annapolis and was immediately treated with respect. We set up an appointment with Drew and Chris and visited the dealership. They were friendly, easy to talk to and deal with, and made us feel at home. After telling them what car we wanted, it was no problem for them to search and find that very car, color and all, that we wanted. Chris has provided excellent followup with the sale of our new car. I would definitely recommend Annapolis Hyundai, as this was the best experience we have ever had in buying a new car, no games, just straight up deals. I am enjoying my new Santa Fe. More
I brought my Sonata in for recall work and regular maintenance without an appointment. Not only was the crew able to get the car in but they were able to get the car finished that day. The crew was very friendly and didn't care that I didn't call in advance. I was told that they could complete the work by the end of the day. I was called and given the status a couple hours after drop off and approximate time that it would be done and was contacted again when the car was ready. While I had the car in I stopped in to see some of the new models. I had my Sonata for 3 years and have really enjoyed the car but was curious about some of the new models and features. I asked about trade in value and got info on a couple of models of interest. This was during the cold "vortex" that was hitting the east coast but Chris Zook (sales guy) took me around outside to see different models even though I conveyed that I was just curious. I ended up getting an appraisal for my 2011 and Chris worked with George and Drew to come up with a favorable deal. There was no pressure and my wife and I ended up enjoying talking with Chris, George and Drew about many topics - nothing to do with getting me into the car today etc. etc. that you might expect with a typical dealership visit. Everyone we talked to was really down to earth and seem to genuinely enjoy meeting people. I ended up giving them a particular car/color/option choice later in the day after leaving and coming back to pick up my Sonata after the service was done. The car was immaculate and everything that was done was explained and documented. So even though the review started with a great service visit it turned into a great sales visit as well. I'll continue this review in the sales section since that was completed on a different day. More
This is really a continuation of a service visit that turned into a new sale. After enjoying a visit with the sales and sales management team I have given them a specific car/color/option list. I was ca turned into a new sale. After enjoying a visit with the sales and sales management team I have given them a specific car/color/option list. I was called the next day when they located and received the car I wanted. I usually dread going through the purchasing process which seems to take forever usually. This time Chris had me put some information in their system before I came in so that some things could be started before I got there. George got me quickly through most of the paper work and helped register the car on the myHyundai site as well as get my bluelink system registered. I was then handed over to the finance department and even though I had to get on a conference call for work I was helped through the process quickly and thoroughly. The tags were transferred (I had a trade in) and before I knew it I was getting the overview of features of the car from Chris. We ended up trying some of the smart phone integration and things that aren't usually gone over. Pretty cool technology. We ended up chatting about cars, sports, and music before I ended up driving home. The whole staff at Annapolis Hyundai is really down to earth and personable and removes all the pressure involved in purchasing a new car. Actually a pleasurable experience! More
My wife and I recently purchased our new Sonata from Chris Zook. Overall, the dealership was fantastic and was certainly the best car buying experience we have ever had. In fact, we actually had a great time with our awesome salesman Chris! And he was rather patient with us as we test drove quite a few cars to see which one was right for us. We even had employees that weren't even involved in our deal come over to offer us drinks and snacks while we were waiting. After we finalized the deal, Chris took us over to meet the service manager who was totally awesome and obviously cared a lot about his job and the value in customer service. All in all, we got the deal that we wanted and the experience that we didn't expect. Great job Chris and Annapolis Hyundai as a whole! We're definitely coming back! More
