Great Deal!!! I have been searching for a great used truck for months. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I could afford, around $10,000. I found the truck that I I have been searching for a great used truck for months. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I could afford, around $10,000. I found the truck that I wanted at Cherokee Ford, only 170 miles from my home. Justin was a great salesmen that worked hard to get my financing approved. When we arrived someone was test driving the truck. The manager explained to us that since we had our paperwork finished that we could sign and the truck was ours , if we didn't like the truck he would shred the papers, fill our tank with gas and send us on our way. That sounded like a win-win for us so we signed. The truck was better than advertised, very clean, leather seats (no rips), the body was great even for a much newer more expensive truck, and it had a Hemi engine, so we came home with it. The staff was not going to make a lot of money off of this sale but they worked just as hard for us. Justin is a very honest person that cares about putting his customers in the right vehicle. When we went down the salesman was busy so we wandered around for a long time. Finally, the sales manager came and told us that the price was misstated online, but that they'd be happy to show us other cars on the lot. The whole thing had such a smarmy feel to it. Deposit do not mean anything to this company Went to purchase a used 2004 Subaru Forester XS from this dealership. I made an offer and it was accepted and gave them a $250.00 Deposit. Told them that I wanted to take it to my mechanic to look it over. I told them that I had to schedule it with my mechanic they said that will be fine. Left there and called my mechanic he did not return my call till the next morning. I then called my sales advisor and told him that I would be there the next day around 2 pm to get the car, he said fine. I then get a call about 12:45pm on the day to pick it up while I was in route. The sales advisor told me that he had some bad news "They had sold the car" . The moral of this is with (1) Cherokee Ford Lincoln of Alpharetta deposits do not mean any thing. (2) If you want to take it to your mechanic you had better have him on 24 hr. call because you will have to take it to him right then. does not matter if you have a job to go to either. (3) If you do make an offer and it is accepted that does not mean anything either as if someone comes and offers more money for the car that you have put a deposit on they will sell it and refund your deposit. "Checks in the mail" Oh yes and they did cash my check. More

The sales person even called us on the day of our appointment to confirm we were coming. When we got there she told us the truck was in the shop because it wouldnt start and started to try to sell us something else that was $10,000 more than what we wanted to spend.After test driving another truck and looking at others and then going back into the dealership to discuss prices and what we came prepared to pay. The manager told us the truck we wanted was not in the shop it was sold days ago. If only she had been forthcoming in the beginning. She knew the truck wasnt there when she called us on the phone to confirm the appointment. This is poor customer service in my book. I would never do business with them. They cant be trusted the salesperson lied to us to get us out there. She had no consideration for our time or the fact that I am very pregnant as she had us out on that hot lot in 90+ temps knowing she didnt have what we came for. More
