I was totally amazed by the help that we got from Tyler in the service department today. Early this morning I heard an odd sound that I thought was coming from a tire as I was driving my wife’s car. This car has 2 children’s car seats in the back that were inspected as suggested by the Bloomington Police Department. This inspection certifies that they have been installed properly. Because of this, it is virtually impossible for us to switch cars to do our daily grandchild transport. When we heard this sound this morning, we were on our way to a children’s petting zoo with our 3 year old granddaughter and I was immediately concerned that we could not drive this car safely. I called Andy Mohr service department to see if they could possibly help us today because this car is essential in daily grandchildren transport. Tyler in the service department answered and said, while he could not promise anything, to bring the car in and he would do his best to evaluate the issue. When we arrived I went to the service department and Tyler happened to be on the phone with another customer and I couldn’t help overhear the conversation. It was a situation where the customer had brought a car in for service and Tyler was describing a significant situation with a tire that they had found. He went into great detail about the nature of the problem and went to great pains to clarify that he was not trying to sell anything but merely was concerned for this customer’s safety. Standing as closely as I was, it was clear to me the true care and concern that Tyler was expressing. When my turn came Tyler came to look at our car and immediately found a large bolt sticking out of our front tire! He was able to get this tire fixed within 45 minutes of my bringing it in!!!! I have reflected on how amazing Tyler was periodically though out the day. I’m sure that there are situations that he can’t help with but I’m clear, if it is possible for him to be of true service, it is his inherent nature to help. More
We had excellent service from people, Tyler was our service man, & on our old Honda CRV. Tyler got a loaner car for us which was a great help. We are in our 80’s & don’t live close to the dealership in service man, & on our old Honda CRV. Tyler got a loaner car for us which was a great help. I dropped my 2007 Honda Civic for Oil/Filter Change at 8:30 AM on May 29, 2024. My appointment was scheduled 10 days prior as that was the first available slot. I let them know I would need to get my car back 1-1:30 at latest to go to a Doctor Appointment in Indianapolis. They said sure, no problem. I arrived back at 1:30 pm and they hadn't even started it yet. I pulled it into the garage in the morning and they just pulled it out and put it in the back corner and forgot about it. Normally, I may be like oh, it happens but this is the third time this has happened. The other two times, I just sat and waited for them to do it right and then get home in Indy an hour late but this time I had a doctors appointment. Now I have a car with 10% oil life left and I am forced to do it myself which I probably should anyway. Why do ask that? You see your oil changes used to be $49.99 and you could use a $10 off coupon from their website but now its either $59.99 or $69 with no coupon. So now I get worse service and pay more, which this is the first time that I even cared about the increase cost. If all is provided then I would have been ok with the price increase... Also, this is my 3rd Honda Civic and this has 272,500 miles on it, 2nd owner since 50k. The plan was to buy a new Honda Civic when my 2007 Honda Civic hits 300k, that was my goal. Unfortunately, I will have to take my business to another Honda Dealership moving forward. Maybe Hare Honda, Penske Honda, Honda of Fishers, or Indy Honda will provide better service and if not then I can always make a change from Honda all together. More

I was told my car would fail alignment before pulling it into the shop. I was told the maintenance minder should no longer be trusted and I should trust the dealer for what I need.
