Came for an oil change and tire rotation. Next morning garage floor had oil all over it and truck is leaking oil. This is the second time this has occurred at this dealership. Purchased vehicle 2016Jeep Patriot w/additional $2600 Warranty in 8/2021, 49K miles. I am only 10K miles along & spoke to Andrew @ Century Warranty. He said Torque Failure should be covered under my war Warranty in 8/2021, 49K miles. I am only 10K miles along & spoke to Andrew @ Century Warranty. He said Torque Failure should be covered under my warranty. Now 10,000 miles later, and 6 months ongoing Torque failure/ Throttle Body bad, my Level I nor Level II Warranty covers the issue. So therefor, I am at an expense of over $2000. for repairs. I would have anticipated I would not be having these issues in good faith of my purchasing nicer vehicle w/warranty. When contacting Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield, Marsha in Financing advised me that after 2 years with no issues, everyone is responsible at some time for "general mechanical issues". Engine lockup & a complete stop at 55 MPH on a Highway is "NOT" a general mechanical issue. She transferred me a Sales Rep to possible trade in or sell me another vehicle. Jose, the Sales Rep listened to my concern, he would investigate and call me back 20-30 minutes. I have not heard back & several people have advised me this is at my expense. I will continue to make my Jeep payment for another 5 years weather vehicle is operable or not. I did not anticipate with my original purchase of a low milage/ higher value vehicle I would be in this disposition. I anticipated my investment would have withstood my lifetime, beings I reside only 2 miles from my employment. I was wrong. Be cautious when being upsold on purchase with warranty, Andy Mohr or Century does not uphold. It is not what I was professional advised on my purchase. Another dissatisfied, but frustrated customer putting it out there so another could save some future issues. More
