I used the internet quote system when shopping for a new truck. Although they never gavee a price they kept saying they will "beat any deal". I told them to contact me by email only and they started calling truck. Although they never gavee a price they kept saying they will "beat any deal". I told them to contact me by email only and they started calling me. I told them if they cannot follow my instructions to email me a price I would not deal with them. They continued to call and email every day for a week (sometimes using different people) until I told them I bought a truck elsewhere. They have a lot too learn! More
I went on the internet and was looking at the Ford Escapes. I found one that I liked and it was at Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield. I was excited at first because I knew Andy Mohr when I was younger an Escapes. I found one that I liked and it was at Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield. I was excited at first because I knew Andy Mohr when I was younger and I thought that my experience at one of his dealerships would be a positive experience. Boy was that a big mistake!!!! I went there and met with a sales person. He was friendly and very helpful. His name was Joe D. and he was the only positive person that I met that day. He let me test drive one of the Escapes in their lot. After we test drove it he sat down and talked to me about the Escapes and I told him that I was thinking of buying one. Joe was a good sales person, but the rest of Andy Mohrs sales team needs to go back to school and learn how to treat and talk to customers. He left for a few minutes to look for the kind of Escape that I was interested in. That is when the high pressure sales people from their dealership started up with me. The rest of the four guys that met with me tried to get me to buy an Escape, that day were very pushy and high pressured. They really didn't listen to me that day because I told them that I just started looking at Ford Escapes and that before I bought one I would have to talk to my finance person first to decide if I could afford an escape and how I should have it financed. They were extremely pushy and said that I had to buy one that day and they could save me $2000.00 dollars off the vehicle. I then asked them if they were referring to the $2000.00 dollar rebate that all Ford Dealerships were offering and they said not that it was seperate from the rebate but that I really needed to buy one that day. They didn't say it, but they implied that it was a one time deal. They then wanted to start a file on me and wanted my name, phone number, and address. I told them that I had to leave and they still insisted that I buy one today. I was so angry at the pushiness of their sales team that I gave them a false name, phone number, and address. I knew then that I would not use them because the last thing I wanted was for them to bother me at my home or on my phone. I was very dissapointed with Andy Mohr's dealership. I think that Andy Mohr can to better and I will not go back there. I am taking my business to Bill Estes Ford were I was treated in a highly professional, friendly, honest, and non- pushy way. My hope is that maybe Andy Mohr and his sales team could learn something from this review. I doubt if it will make a difference, but stranger things have happened in life. I am a retired school teacher. I have served the children of Hendrick's County for 27 years. I am hoping that what I say will count for something. More
I went online to purchase a For F-150 truck and Andy Mohr was one of the dealers responding to my request for an online quote of a package I had specified. Immediately, they tried to get me to make an appoi was one of the dealers responding to my request for an online quote of a package I had specified. Immediately, they tried to get me to make an appointment with a sales person at the dealership instead of giving me an honest online quote. I visited the dealership and I was met with high-pressure salesmanship like that experienced by someone walking in off the street would typically experience. This was not at all what I expected for a price quote originated online. The sales manager attempted high-pressure tactics to get me to buy, and the offer given was mixed (on purpose) with a rebate of $3500 Ford Motor was offering for the vehicle in an attempt to make the offer sound quite low. When I extracted the rebate from their offer, the offer was far too high to be of any interest. I found the personnel I dealt with as untrustworthy and I certainly would not recommend this dealership to others for online purchase of a vehicle. More
