STEALERSHIP ALERT! take your money elsewhere! I went to the andy mohr plainfield dealership to buy a used 2006 grand marquis. The customer service was hardly average to say the best but that wasn' I went to the andy mohr plainfield dealership to buy a used 2006 grand marquis. The customer service was hardly average to say the best but that wasn't even the worst part. During the test drive I discovered that the transmission slipped in 4th gear. When we went into the office to try and come to a deal I mentioned this and they responded by dropping the price 100 dollars (off 3300 which is top dollar for that car) to "copensate" for the 1700 dollars it would cost me to get a remanufactured transmission. Here comes the best part though, after they declined my offer on the car they said that "someone with less knowledge on the subject wouldn't even notice the difference and they would drive it for a little bit, then when it fails they will just bring it back and pay us to fix it." I hope this goes to show why I would call this place a stealership and not a dealership. More

Unappreciated Service department is always packed and taking vehicle in can be an all day event. When I do take vehicle I don’t feel it gets the quality service. Service department is always packed and taking vehicle in can be an all day event. When I do take vehicle I don’t feel it gets the quality service. Rushing mechanics in my opinion results in bad experiences and creates issues. Told something about vechicle which isn’t true doesn’t sit well with me since they are suppose to be the experts. I shouldn’t have to take my vehicle in to another place for a second opinion. I would rate lower but there is some effort by some staff that makes the experience acceptable. The service on vehicles and lack of knowledge makes this rating in my opinion. More
