Worst Service Experience on Jeep Grand Cherokee I had my Jeep towed to Champion on a Friday afternoon because my Jeep would not start and I was told there was a communication issue to the PCM. I cho I had my Jeep towed to Champion on a Friday afternoon because my Jeep would not start and I was told there was a communication issue to the PCM. I chose Champion because they were able to look at my Jeep quicker than the other Jeep dealers around my area. Unfortunately, they didn't look at it when they said they would. I was told by Matt in their service department that they would be able to look at it Monday morning. After a quick initial look, he also somewhat put my mind at ease by telling me he didn't feel the issue was with my PCM because the lights, radio, locks etc all worked. Thought maybe it was a starter issue. So Monday afternoon, I hear nothing and follow up. Matt tells me they didn't have time to look at it and that they would get it in first thing Tuesday morning. Tuesday later afternoon comes around and I've heard nothing, so I follow up again. Matt tells me they hadn't had a chance to look at it, but someone will look at it in the next couple hours before they close on Tuesday. That never happened. Tuesday became Wednesday. Later Wednesday afternoon, Matt calls me and tells me he has bad news and that my PCM needs to be replaced. So Matt orders the part and tells me they'll have everything fixed and I'll be on the road by Monday. At this point my Jeep would have been there for 11 days. Monday comes around and I hear nothing, so I follow up again and I'm told the part had not delivered yet. They had no eta on the part and then a couple hours later I'm told it should deliver the following day, Tuesday. Tuesday comes around and I get a call from Matt stating that they installed the new PCM and are still not getting any communication to the PCM...strange. Tuesday becomes Wednesday, which I then get a call stating that a wire leading into the PCM had corroded and had to be replaced. This was probably the issue all along, but I instead they had me replace whole PCM! My Jeep is finally ready to be picked up Wednesday afternoon...the Wednesday before Thanksgiving...not convenient timing with travel plans scheduled. My Jeep had at this point been there 13 days. I make pickup arrangements with Matt and that's that. But WAIT, there's more! Matt calls me back and tells me he has MORE bad news...they lost my keys!! So they had to make another and literally acted as if it were no big deal and told me I would not be charged for the key....well obviously!! On top of this awful experience, I made numerous attempts to follow up in hopes of getting information and to explain to a manager the problems I was having. I talked with the receptionist, Tammy, and she left messages for both their service manager, John Lutane and also their GM. I even left voicemails for these two gentlemen and never once received a call back. The Wednesday that my Jeep was ready for pickup, Tammy finally was able to track John Lutane down and he gave me a call back late Wednesday afternoon. I explained the issues and he was apologetic, but I was really expecting to get a fairly substantial discount for this whole debacle. He wasn't willing or able to work with me much and offered to remove a "service charge," which when all said and done, came to be about $75. To sum this up, Champion completely over promised and under delivered time and time again. As a customer, I feel I was completely taken advantage of with replacing a computer system that most likely didn't have to be replaced. Maybe they should have noticed the corroded wire and replaced it first before telling me I had to replace the whole thing. This type of thing is any customers' fear when working with mechanics. There's NO TRUST here. Communication was horrendous, and ultimately, I left very unsatisfied with the outcome of this situation. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. EVERYONE BEATS A CHAMPION!! More

Slightly confused as to the new process on checking in with the new set up. But beautiful new service area. Very good experience.
