Beware: Make sure you get what you’re paying for! I’m writing this in hopes that it doesn’t happen to someone else. I called this dealership 45 minutes away to make sure a car was available and it was. I told them I was coming to look at it and was very interested in buying it. I’d looked for weeks and finally thought I found “the one”. The sales manager said he’d have it out and ready for me to look out. I get there and it’s not out and ready. A sales associate comes to help me and pulls the car around. I start to look at it. It was listed as an Elantra Limited with many features such as heated leather seats, blind spot detection, heated mirrors, and more. The first thing I notice are cloth seats and I tell the gal this can’t be the right car because it’s not as described. I was then told there must have been a mistake in some features according to the listing, but it was never disclosed that it was a completely different model. The paperwork I signed even says “limited” as the style. I called Hyundai Customer Care and they informed me I had the base model. I tried calling Andy Mohr to talk to the sales manager who transferred me to the sales associate. There’s nothing she could do but confirm it is the base model go over the features of the car I actually bought. I tried contacting someone higher up and she couldn’t get anyone to talk to me either. I feel I was misinformed and would not have purchased the vehicle had I known exactly what I was buying. You can find the same car (the base model) with 10,000-20,000 less miles for the same price elsewhere. Do your due diligence before purchasing a used car here... even better idea, you might want to steer clear. I feel sorry for the associate as she did the best she could with what she had to work with. She’s the only reason they got two stars instead of one. I will not be doing business here again and it’s a real shame too because my first car was bought at Andy Mohr and that was a great experience. Now I cannot trust this company with my business. Very sad indeed. More

Had been busy for the last week, but notified Tyler would be calling me on Saturday. As of this morning, no response so I called the contact Jenny and she stated he should of called, but she would figure it out. Finally went down there, looked at the Terrain, liked it. Came to the table on my trade, way low as i figured as it had unknown structural damage in the past, but offered 2500. I asked if they could put it on the rack to show it was repaired so I could get more money. He said no and as I look down at my phone, get another credit hit from Andy Mohr. xxx. I asked Tyler and he stated that he only pulled the 1. The numbers in front of me are the traditional payment only numbers like Andy Mohr likes to do, deceiving the public on what your paying for the cars. I advised Tyler later I wouldn't be back due to the payments being too high for what I was trying to do. My complaint is why Andy Mohr pulled my credit two times, 7/2 and 7/8 as well as why they couldn't look at the car as I have driven this car for 2 years as is. Andy Mohr dealerships needs to put it straight, line by line on what your paying for the car, fees and trade info. Forget about the payments until you get close to financing and see where your at. Its all a game, help people see what they want, not just a payment so you can add percentage points to the rate. More

Great experience I can't say enough great things about Jake our salesman and Alex in finance. For various reasons car buying has never ranked high on our list of things we love (or even like to do) but dealing with both Jake & Alex was surprisingly enjoyable. Not everyone has the personality to make a person feel comfortable and at ease as well as not being pushed. We did not call ahead for a test drive since we had 3 dealerships we had planned on visiting but from the minute we walked in there was no delay in getting us out for the test drive. Needless to say, we did not go to the other 2 dealerships. Price of the vehicle was fair as well as our trade in. I'm don't normally recommend businesses or services to family or friends unless my experience was a good as it can get. Ask for Jake if you go to this location. More
Sales service is non-existent Called Saturday about a vehicle. They said it was available and hooked me up with a saleman. I gave the salesman all my info and they ran my credit an Called Saturday about a vehicle. They said it was available and hooked me up with a saleman. I gave the salesman all my info and they ran my credit and I was approved to move forward. I only know this because I received an email from GM Financial. Time went by so I called the dealership to speak with this salesman to see if they were ready for me to come to the dealership to close the deal. I was sent to the wrong person so I called back. When I called back I got his email. So I got online again and asked the online rep to have him call me. She said he would call me shortly. He never did. Saturday turns into Sunday, Sunday to Monday, and no call! I call back again and this time he answers. When I ask him about the car, he said, “Oh, it sold. I told ... to call you to tell you. I guess she didn’t.” Furious at losing this car after they already ran my credit and approved me for this car, I said, “Well, you already have my info. Can we find me another hardtop convertible?” I was told he would look. That was Monday. I also received an email that day from their online sales to see if I was ready to come in to test drive that car. I emailed that lady back twice with no reply. I still recieved no call Tuesday so I called back and of course I was sent to voicemail. I left a message. its Wednesday, still no call or email. I have never had this poor of service from any dealership. We have bought a car from this dealership in the past with great service. We have bought enough 2 cars from Andy Mohr Toyota and one from Andy Mohr Nissan. I expected better. Has Andy Mohr gotten so big it doesn’t care anymore? More

Tire Repair Service Got a flat tire and as I went to put the spare on, I realized the spare did not fit my car, so I had to get towed to the dealsrship. These guys worked Got a flat tire and as I went to put the spare on, I realized the spare did not fit my car, so I had to get towed to the dealsrship. These guys worked to get my tow bill paid reimbursed (since I wouldn’t need the tow if the spare was correct), and then they gave me a free spare replacement after a couple minutes of speaking with them. Amazing staff, will be coming here for future car issues. More

I tend to keep my cars a long time, and I also tend to get very bothered by squeaks/rattles in a vehicle that costs in excess of $30k...it's a lot of money to spend and I think most would agree that expecting quality fit/finish shouldn't be out of line. I told my salesman, Luther, several times I wanted to try and drive a few of the Lacrosses. He kept pushing back that I should just look at the one I like the most since they are "all the same". I made it clear that no two cars are identical, and at sticker prices over $40k I want the car to meet my standards. One car drove very smooth but there was a very noticeable interior squeak in the rear every time I pulled the car to the right...and only when I pulled it to the right. (He was not in the car to hear it....but told me "it's probably just a nut rolling around" and dismissed what I was saying). The second car had no interior noises at all, but there was something wrong with the drivers window. Not only would it not roll down at first, there was very loud wind noise coming through. Definitely not normal. After driving the second car, I asked to drive a third, final one. This is when Luther started to turn nasty. He said "they all drive the same" and continued to say that these cars have zero squeaks or rattles. I said that's ridiculous...ALL cars with plastic interiors are prone to it, but some are better than others. For him to suggest otherwise and to start arguing with me about it was offputting. He than said "does YOUR car have squeaks?" which is a joke....it has 130k miles. Of course it does. He proceeded to ask me which car I wanted, to which I said I want to still drive the 3rd one to see. He continued to tell me to just settle on the colors I wanted and I said I wouldn't. Note that I was not acting belligerent or arrogant....I was very tired having driven from Chicago earlier in the day dealing with a family emergency and was more subdued than usual, if anything. He finally got the keys to the 3rd one and it wouldn't start. I told him I'd just come back Monday and test drive it after they got it running, but he wasn't having it. He took my trade-in keys to the front desk to have someone appraise my car, though he had the keys for about 20 minutes up to that point while I was on a test drive....frustrated at that fact, I at first said I'd rather just do all that Monday and he responded "WE'LL DO IT NOW!" and huffed up to the desk. I then got angry and said it was late (close to closing time) and I'd just do it Monday and he REFUSED. These are the car dealership experiences my dad spoke of often from the '70s....I thought we'd moved past this type of behavior. Luther and I then talked price for a bit (since I was stranded without my keys) and then after the appraisal was done and my keys handed back to me, he flat out refused to tell me what it was appraised at. He said he didn't know. I told him the appraiser would know and to ask him, and he said the appraiser didn't know - which, of course, was ridiculous and I said so. I said I would not come back Monday if I didn't know that we were in the ballpark. He said "you know what your car is worth" and I said yes - about $7500 - and he said "then we're in the ballpark!" with nothing but frustration. In my years, I've never dealt with a salesperson like this, and I'm annoyed enough that I had to say something. It takes a LOT for me to get riled up and write about something, but it needs to be said. More
