Anderson of Abingdon - Service Center

This is the first time I've used Anderson's service since they took over for Boyle. I was disappointed about a few things. All I had done was an oil change and tire rotation. The last time I had this done, i they took over for Boyle. I was disappointed about a few things. All I had done was an oil change and tire rotation. The last time I had this done, it was around $60 or $70. This time, it was $112. That is a significant increase. The second thing was that I had a coupon for service. The coupon said it was good for $20 off any routine maintenance service. When I think of routine maintenance, the first things that pop into my head are oil change and tire rotation. When I asked the cashier if they applied the coupon, she said it doesn't look like it, but I can tell you they don't let you use this for oil changes. I didn't see where this said it on the coupon. I will confess that I didn't read the entire coupon, so if it did say not applicable to oil changes, I missed it. Even so, this is a bit misleading. And for such a jump in price, they should have let me use the coupon. One last thing, in addition to not letting me use the coupon, they never gave it back to me. It was still not expired and could have potentially been used for something else. So I should have at least gotten it back. I dropped the keys and coupon off in the overnight bin, so I never actually saw a service person. But if they didn't use it, they should have given it to the cashier to give back to me when I paid. More

Picked my car up and the next morning I noticed a nail in my back tire. I’m sure it happened where they parked my car in their back parking lot very far from the garage and service area. Good experience overall. I was able to get service done without an appointment. The only downside was my car had a horrible stench of cigarette when I picked it up.
