Mr. Tian Tan treated me with such an excellent customer service that I thought he was the general manager. For this very reason, I decided to buy a brand new car from Anderson Honda despite a little highe service that I thought he was the general manager. For this very reason, I decided to buy a brand new car from Anderson Honda despite a little higher price than another dealership. I truly enjoyed the whole process without feeling any pressure from him. I only wish the "finance manager" was as professional and friendly as Mr. Tan was. I would definitely come back to Mr. Tan to buy another new car without any hesitation. More
Id likes to take the time to warn consumers about Anderson Honda. I recently purchased a used 2008 Honda from them and everything from start to finish was the biggest nightmare I've ever encountered Anderson Honda. I recently purchased a used 2008 Honda from them and everything from start to finish was the biggest nightmare I've ever encountered when purchasing anything. When I arrived at the dealership I already knew the car I wanted to view. When we went to start up the car the battery was dead. I told the sales rep that I wasn’t going to even test drive the car if they didn't replace the battery with new in case I were to purchase the vehicle. They charged the battery and promised that if I bought the care they would replace the battery. THEY LIED, I asked them again if they had replaced the battery before I purchased the care and they said yes. My wife was stranded 2 days later because of an old used battery. After the original test drive we went in the office to make a deal, the sales rep flat out lied about being able to connect direct with our banking institution, I told them I didn't feel comfortable giving any information before we settled on a price and interest rates. Once I said that they became very pushy and disrespectful. We settled on a deal, they told me they were able to communicate with our credit union and that the interest rate was going to be 2.53%. When we went to sign the paper work the interest rate was 4.99!!! They said they couldn't lock it in because it was too late but they were going to lock in the 2.53% interest rate in the morning. They never did, the finance officer wouldn't return our calls, never got one phone call back. To top everything off, we buy the car I get in to drive away and there's not enough gas to get me home, I bring it to their attention and they say they can’t put gas in the car, it’s against policy!!!!! I spent 20 minutes arguing and even threatened to return the car. Last but not least they cover up all the scratches on their used cars so that after the 2nd or 3rd wash they start to show. Very dishonest, unprofessional, bottom of the barrel dealership. Stay away!!!! They will lie to your face about everything!!!!!!! More
Gus Stevenson found the model and color we wanted and offered a price lower than 5 other Honda dealerships. Great guy, great service. I just bought a New Accord form Jack the Fleet Manager at Anderson Honda. I was very happy with the price and had a fun time. Not a typical car dealership, for sure. Anderson Honda is like the Starbucks of Honda dealers. My internet sales person Jack, was very enjoyable to work with and really knows his stuff. Free coffee too (but not Starbucks since the recession). Do internet sales person Jack, was very enjoyable to work with and really knows his stuff. We found the treatment and overall experience in purchasing a car at Anderson to be outstanding. The salespeople were curtious and friendly. They did not try to oversell any of the add ons. The were purchasing a car at Anderson to be outstanding. The salespeople were curtious and friendly. They did not try to oversell any of the add ons. The were very professional and gave us accurate information. We tend to do a reasonable amount of research on cars we were interested in and so had a lst of questions as well as a list of 'don't let the dealer talk you intos'. We are not good hagglers and so basically brought the best price we had found to Anderson and said can you match this?. They beat the price and we bought the car. It was very easy and low stress. I would go back. Only had the car for two days so can't really judge that yet. More
Best car buying experience in 26 years of purchasing cars. Friendly and knowledgeable service. We will definitely return when seeking to purchase another car and encourage others to do the same. Anderson Honda responded to my online inquiry about pricing quickly and I received all information I was interested in via email (while many other dealerships would only provide quotes over the phone). pricing quickly and I received all information I was interested in via email (while many other dealerships would only provide quotes over the phone). I first came just to test drive a few cars (I hadn't driven a Honda before, and I had had my previous car for 15 years, so I was rather nervous about the whole process). I found Anderson Honda staff to be friendly (the greeter by the entrance, a passing by staff person offering to take me to the right office). The salesman, Les Leonardo, was patient and friendly, and showed true interest in figuring out his customer's needs. I visited several other dealerships within the following couple of days and have to say that Anderson Honda was the friendliest, Les' emails were informative and to the point (while other dealerships insisted on me calling them to get the information, or were very slow to respond), and the pricing was competitive. I returned to Anderson Honda and purchased a Honda Civic from Les Leonardo, and want to thank Les for making it a pleasant experience. If you prefer a sales person who is not in-your-face pushy but helps you along the way as you are making your decision, call Les Leonardo. I agree with other reviewers about the Honda Care push in the finance department (was rather a shocking difference from dealing with Les), but it was very clear to me that it was poorly delivered paid advertisement and I didn't fall for it, so just be aware of it, and then it won't ruin your overall experience. We did most of our price comparison and negotiation over phone and email. So when we got there, there wasn't anymore haggling. That's the good part. Our experience with Les Leonardo, the salesman, was al phone and email. So when we got there, there wasn't anymore haggling. That's the good part. Our experience with Les Leonardo, the salesman, was also ok. When we got to the finance department, a totally different story. That's where Sanjay the finance guy tried to rip us off. He told us lies after lies to get us to purchase the Honda Care service contract. He made the 2011 Honda Odyssey sound like a piece of junk that'll fall apart the moment we drive it off the lot. And he blatantly lied to us that we'll get our money back at the end of the contract if we have no claims against it. "Honda is doing this because this is a first year model", he said. Well, guess what? Do some research online and you'll find that Honda made no such offer! Honda's FAQ on Honda Care says, "If your Honda Care contract expires by time or mileage, no refund is due you from Honda. Some dealers, as an inducement for you to purchase a service contract, will include a separately purchased insurance policy that may refund whatever you paid for the service contract if it expires and you have not filed any claims." And pay special attention to these final two lines (emphasis added): "These insurance companies are NOT affiliated with Honda and Honda DOES NOT endorse them. The terms and conditions of these policies make it so that very FEW people ever collect on them." I can't believe that in this day and age of Yelp and Google, this kind of unscrupulous practice still exists. It makes me so mad!!! More
I had an amazing experience at Anderson Honda. I went in to see them five days ago about purchasing a pre-owned Civic, and I ended up walking out with a new one. From the minute I stepped out of my car, they greeted me and were friendly and helpful. Everyone involved in my purchase was extremely knowledgable and professional. The associates are well-informed and answered every question I had. It was a pleasure doing business with John Anderson. More
