I have been taking my vehicle to Anderson Honda for a couple of years now. I always see Tim. He is always friendly and helpful. I recently had a problem with my car, A rather old Accord. I was faced with couple of years now. I always see Tim. He is always friendly and helpful. I recently had a problem with my car, A rather old Accord. I was faced with a large repair bill, and instead of pushing for me to get my old car fixed he suggested I talk to Les in sales. That it may make more since to by a new car that to try to patch together my old one, one more time. I'm so grateful for having a service department I can trust and a salesman that could help me into a new car I just love. I know I sound like a commercial but it's true. More
We had very negative experiences at two other Honda dealers. At Anderson, we were treated with honesty and respect. The entire transaction was very straight forward. What a refreshing change. I would not hesitate to return to Anderson Honda if I were to purchase another Honda vehicle. More
First, service at this dealership SUCKS. The saleswoman is stone-cold and no smile. What kind of customer service is it? If she doesn't like her job, I strongly recommend her to quit. Second, the saleswoma is stone-cold and no smile. What kind of customer service is it? If she doesn't like her job, I strongly recommend her to quit. Second, the saleswoman has weak knowledge on the vehicle she is selling. When we ask about suspension and handling between different models, she fails to give a solid answer. Third, no much choices are available at this dealership because it is relatively small. Overall, our experience with this dealership is very unpleasant, and it even leads to negative impression on Honda. More
Beware when you purchase a new car from this dealership. Beware when you purchase a new car from this dealership. I purchased a new Honda Odyssey 2001 6 years ago, and was talked into buying Honda Care with Beware when you purchase a new car from this dealership. I purchased a new Honda Odyssey 2001 6 years ago, and was talked into buying Honda Care with guarantee from "Mr. Anderson" that if I do not use it, the full value will be refunded. However, recently I called the finance department to get the "full refund" because my car was declared total loss by the insurance company, they would not give me a full refund, because the contract had been broken. To me, this is a big sign of bad customer relationship. What the person did not know was I was on the market to purchase 2 new cars. Well, I gave my business to capital Honda. They are more than willing to sell me the new cars. More
I contacted Anderson Honda for an Internet quote on July 28th. Robert S., Fleet/Internet manager sent back a detailed quote showing the car sales price, taxes, DMV, etc. I was able to get my questions answe 28th. Robert S., Fleet/Internet manager sent back a detailed quote showing the car sales price, taxes, DMV, etc. I was able to get my questions answered by e-mail and did not get any calls pressuring me to buy a car. I had already done a lot of price research on Edmunds.com, Consumer Reports new car buying report, and contacted other dealers. His price was very competitive. When I did talk with Robert by phone, he was very professional and straightforward about his price. I questioned him about dealer add ons I encountered with other dealers and there were none, which agreed with his quote. He returned my calls quickly. I live in Marin County, north of San Francisco. Anderson Honda is more than 50 miles from where I live. I ended up buying from a dealer in Marin. If I had not found something acceptable close to home, I would have driven to Anderson to buy from Robert. I encourage Internet car shoppers to give Robert and Anderson a try for an online quote. Do your homework first so you know what price, what model, and features you want. From my shopping experience I found it best to call the dealership Internet department if you don't get a fast enough response for a quote. That way you can get your information quickly for comparison. A slow response doesn't mean lack of interest. More

I got a trade-in quote from this dealer on my current car. 15-20 days later, I got an email from them about an end-of-the-month midnight sale with a commitment to give 500$ more on trade-in and 500$ less car. 15-20 days later, I got an email from them about an end-of-the-month midnight sale with a commitment to give 500$ more on trade-in and 500$ less on new car on top of best deal worked with them. Turns out that the best deal that they work compensates for the $1000 discount. New trade-in value on my car was $700 (> 10%) below what they quoted just 15-20 days ago, that too after sitting there for an hour twiddling my thumbs because the sales team was too busy dealing with the large number of customers at the sale. My car was in absolutely the same condition it was 15 days ago, with only about 200 more miles on it since I was out of town 10 of the 15 days, and the Kelly Blue Book trade-in value for my car has gone UP although very slightly in thse 15 days.<br> More
