Terrible experience with this dealership. I've bought several new and used cars before. I bought a 2011 Ford F-150 from Anderson Ford Mazda. This particular ve experience with this dealership. I've bought several new and used cars before. I bought a 2011 Ford F-150 from Anderson Ford Mazda. This particular vehicle is lemon 🍋. I understand that purchasing a used vehicle "as is" is huge risk for a buyer. I really expect a major dealership would at least sale reputable vehicles for repeat customers. My particular vehicle steering $2000, cab leaking water, and water pump leaking $500. With hassle and many hours sitting at the dealership with my complaints they agreed to fix the steering and the roof leak with $200 co pay. My vehicle stayed with them 1 week. When I got my vehicle back the cab was still leaking. So I called and took it back. This time my vehicle stayed there 2 weeks. My keys were lost and set of beats wireless headphones gone. The dealership replaced my keys and I had to purchase another set of headphones. The dealership advised me that my claim would given to their insurance and I would have to wait to be reimbursed for them. Keep in mind that I've only had this vehicle less than a month. Over the weekend about a week after I got my vehicle back I went out to start my vehicle and it wouldn't start and noticed a liquid leaking from under my vehicle. So I called the dealership again to voice my complaint again with the general manager. He advised me to come back and maybe he has something on the lot I could trade for. So Monday I went to the dealership. I spoke with the general manager. I told him I felt like parking the vehicle in parking lot and leaving it there. He said maybe he had a vehicle there that I may like. I told him that I was looking for a black ford pickup similar to one I just purchased from him. He said he has one that was just in. This truck was a Ford F-150 Lariet 3 years older and almost 12000 more miles than my 2011 XLT. I test drove the vehicle and was impressed with the vehicle. Went back in to speak with the general manager. Then he advised me that he would give me 13500 for my vehicle on trade. Wanted 17900 for the 08 model lariet. My mouth dropped I'm outraged my 2011 had been there at their service center for almost a month and I just gave them 15500. I'm seriously insulted with this dealership and will never purchase another vehicle used or new. Nor will I recommend anyone else to go there. The two salesmen were ok. Members at the service department were awesome. More

Waste of my time Called Anderson Ford Mazda on Tuesday afternoon inquiring about a new car. I had a specific color and features that I was interested in. Spoke to the salesperson at length about coming to see the car the next day. This dealer is approximately and hour from my house but according to the salesman, the car I wanted was in their inventory. Took time off work and drove the hour to the dealership on Wednesday. Explained to the sales associate that greeted me that I was there for an appointment with ****. I was informed that he had the day off and another salesperson could help. I told him what I was looking for and he told me that car was not available. It was "getting fixed". This is a brand new car! At that point, I sensed the bait/switch just to get me into the dealership. I had drove an hour and wasted 2.5 hours of my day and the gas it took to get there. They will tell you anything to get you into the dealership then try to sell you something you don't want. Poor sales technique!! Will not be returning. More

On 10/17/2013 I took my truck to be serviced for engine light on b/c vct solenoid stuck open and timing incorrect. The service advisor Rick called next day saying the vct solenoid needed to be replaced and light on b/c vct solenoid stuck open and timing incorrect. The service advisor Rick called next day saying the vct solenoid needed to be replaced and would not be covered under my extended warranty. They replaced solenoid for $250 and then informed me the truck was still having the same problem and wanted me to pay for 6 hours of labor to tell me what was wrong with the truck. I then came and picked up the truck and took it to a real mechanic. The vct solenoid was stuck open due to timing being incorrect which was caused from a broken timing guide rod on Bank 1. During this process, I received 3 different stories from the personnel at Anderson Ford. The mechanic told me he thought the cam phasers were bad and might be causing the timing problem. After numerous attempts to contact the service manager and/or director, I finally spoke w/ the service manager and he then proceeded to give me a 4th story about the service of the truck and why the vct solenoid was replaced. He lastly claimed that the vct solenoid was broke, but this was the first I had heard that. This is a FORD service provider and you would think they would know the proper way to diagnose a problem rather than to just start replacing un-necessary parts. The service manager sent me a picture of a part he claims was the part that came out of my truck. But I'm sure it wasn't labeled with my VIN and name on the part. He gave me every excuse in the book to justify their actions instead of taking responsibility for their mistake. After a wasted $250 and 2 days of time, this has been the most pitiful and ridiculous vehicle service as well as customer service I have experienced. It really gives Ford a bad name and reputation. They are representing the company with misinformation and untruths to the consumer. I would not recommend this service center or dealership to anyone I know. They have no clue how to properly and efficiently work on a Ford. They will give you six different stories of the problem or excuse but never the TRUTH. If you want to waste your money and time then surely let Anderson Ford do it cause they are excellent at that. This has been the worst customer service and vehicle service I have ever received in my lifetime. There's not even words to describe how pitiful they are and how dishonest and greedy this place is. After you have signed the paperwork, they will not call you back – you are not worth the courtesy of a return phone call, even after leaving six messages. After you have signed the paperwork, they will break every verbal promise they made, with no regrets and no apologies. If you don't have an agreement in writing, don't expect them to honor it. Expect excuses for their failures that will insult your intelligence with their thinking you are stupid enough to believe them. Expect extreme disappointment and wrenching migraine headaches if you do business at Anderson Ford Mazda. More
