Worst experience ever. I will never go back to Anderson Ford again. If I could give 0 stars I would but it made me give at least 1. It all started on September 3, 2019. I had been eying a Silverado 1500 Ford again. If I could give 0 stars I would but it made me give at least 1. It all started on September 3, 2019. I had been eying a Silverado 1500 that they had on the lot and had just sold my camper so I didnt need the big diesel I had anymore so I went to drive the truck and see how I liked it. Truck drove great and had no issues so i began to negotiate on price. Traded in my diesel which had a book value of almost 20,000. They started very low (as expected) and offered me 10,500. I was not having that so eventually I just told them I'd buy the truck outright and sale my truck myself. He told me that they would wholesale my truck and there was no money in it. I told him to give me a price on the new truck and suddenly, without a trade the truck magically costs 4 grand more than list price. When I questioned it he just blew it off and said that was the price if I didnt trade a vehicle in so Eventually we agreed on a trade amount and we started the deal. Told then I was not financing through them and called my credit union. They approved the loan and everything was good to go, but then the ford place sent a bill of sale for a different sale price (the one that they tried to hook me with without a trade) and was trying to fudge paperwork to get more money. My credit union caught it and made them redo everything. Then they tried to say I agreed to a purchase price 4 grand higher and I had to pay the 4 grand immediately. After several choice words with the manager they backed down and agreed to the correct prices again. Drove the truck home and got everything cleared. I planned to put $2,600 down on the truck to lower my payment some and once the credit union papers were complete, they got my debit card number to run for the down payment. 2 weeks later they called and asked for the card number again. I gave it to them again and they still didnt run it Fast forward. I kept track of my truck on their website and they listed it and sold it within a couple weeks. It still had not been paid off and finally at the end of last week (more than 30 days after the trade) I called and questioned why they havent paid it off yet. Called them 3 times because the trade in wasn't paid still and finally one of them returned my call and said they'd check on it. My credit union called me and asked where the payoff was and I called the dealer monday. The credit union had to call because they wouldn't return my call and they got on arguing with them and magically it was paid off instantly. Still didnt have my registration on the new truck. Fast forward to yesterday. About 10AM I started getting back to back phone calls and texts. Wanting to know where their money was.I was at work and couldn't answer my phone so my wife called them and they harassed her telling her they had to have the money right then and because they waited so long to pay off the truck I owed the difference in the payoff amounts as well. She told them that I would call them at my earliest convenience but to stop harrassing me with calls and texts. They said they wanted to be sure I had their message. I worked late and by the time I got off they were closed so I planned to call them this morning. They texted and called a total of about 15 to 20 times yesterday and this morning it began again. I texted them back and told them I was not paying any extra on the payoff because of their laziness and drag-assing and it turned into harassment and arguments pretty quick. I then realized that was going nowhere and told them we would discuss it when I got there this afternoon and then questioned my registration for the truck. They gave me the run around and finally I told them that once they had my registration I'd come by and give them my card to run again. He said I was a liar and never gave them my card to begin with and they got very aggressive and harassing. Finally around 2:30 today I got the text saying everything was ready. When we got to the dealership they didnt have the registration (found this out later) and sent someone to the DMV when we sat down in their waiting room to get the registration. We Sat in that waiting room for 45 mins before someone finally decided to come out there and tell me to come sit down and run the card. Questioned my registration again and they blew it off. Told every one of them if I didnt have the registration in my hand I wssnt paying and they told me about sending someone and if I didnt pay today they would come repossess the truck from my yard. I told them to try me and see what happened. They told me I was threatening them and they could do whatever they wanted. When I told them they couldn't legally take my truck as they weren't the leinholder and they had no ties to that truck anymore and if I wanted to and was dishonest I didnt owe them anything as my paperwork had a $0.00 down payment required they quickly backed off and told me I could wait on the registration to get there before paying the down payment. Finally saw the registration and went to run my card for my down payment. When we got to the cashier the manager told them it was for 2,799 and I got furious. He told me it was because of the payoff thing and I told him no. I wasn't paying for it because they were the slow ones not me after a 15 min standoff and some more choice words to which I told them I was leaving and they weren't getting anything from me and would be hearing from my lawyer they backed off that and wanted the $2,600. When It was all said and done we had a talk with the manager and salesman again. I questioned everyone involved as to why it took so long I was told they were waiting on my down payment to which I told them I had given them the card twice and they said no I was a liar and that I was trying to just cheat them out of their money. I asked how they could sell my trade 2 weeks before it was paid off and they said they were waiting for my down payment before they paid off the trade and then they were paying it off but because I was slacking off on my end they had to pay it off so it wouldn't be late. Remind you this was 35 days after payoff quote and it went as a late payment on my credit and hurt my score as well. They all just seemed to not care. This was just a summary and didnt cover everything that transpired but I couldn't begin to type everything that happened. Longer story short, they are all liars and con artists and dont ever buy anything from them. If they were the last car lot on earth I would walk everywhere before I bought a car from them again. More

Take time to go somewhere else. After more than 5 months and to this date, September 17, 2018, my request for cancellation of Easy Care and Premium Care have not been reconciled. A c After more than 5 months and to this date, September 17, 2018, my request for cancellation of Easy Care and Premium Care have not been reconciled. A copy of this and several other similar complaints have been sent to Consumer Affairs and the Attorney General because I suspect fraud by this dealership and I have had no response from Customer Relations in Dearborn, MI. On April 7, 2018, I bought a 2018 Ford F-150. I made this purchase at Ford Mazda of Anderson, SC. While the vehicle is performing fine the customer service and management are extremely negligent. At the time of purchase I was ‘pressured’ into accepting an extended warranty and GAP insurance deal by the finance manager. I accepted because I had been there for over 4 hours with my wife and eight year old daughter. Afterwards, I decided to cancel both warranties equalling $4695.00. (GAP $800.00 and Premium Care $3895.00). This should have been easily done over the phone, it is the dealerships responsibly to do this in a timely manner. April 12, 2018. I contacted the General Manager of Anderson Mazda Ford, Cedrick West, under the assumption this process should be easily negotiated by simply asking for a cancelation. Mr. West said he would handle it and send confirmation and the refund should take 4 to 6 weeks. After no confirmation on May 2, 2018, I emailed Mr. West and requested confirmation again. On May 8, 2018, Mr. West emailed me stating I would have to cancel the policy myself and he would mail me the paperwork. After a week had passed I did not receive the paperwork by mail as agreed. I called Mr. West again. He told me I would have to come in to the dealership and get the paperwork. Because this is still costing me money in interest on my loan agreement, I agree, just to make sure it gets done. I am very busy, so I sent my wife, to the dealership to retrieve the paperwork from Mr. West. She waited 45 minutes just to receive this from Mr. West. However, I faxed the paperwork in and had to call financing myself to make sure it was cancelled. When I called the financing department they said the insurance had been cancelled on April 25, 2018 and I should have confirmation of the cancellation and refund to the principle on my account showing within 30 days. If not, I should contact Cedrick West and request confirmation of the refund. After no confirmation, I emailed Mr. West asking him for confirmation of the refund. He did not return my call or email. I had my wife call Mr. West on July 12, 2018. She spoke with him and asked to speak with the owner, Dan Parks. Mr. West told her that would not do her any good as Mr. Parks would only send her back to him. Then, he assured her he would look into the processing of the refund and call her back when he knew one way or the other. After not receiving a phone call or email, I called Ford Credit again and nothing had been been applied to my principal. I called several times to speak with Cedrick West with no response. On July 17, 2018 my wife then called the office manager ‘Susan’ for an explanation and she said that Mr. West did not give my wife all the paperwork needed for the cancellation of the Extended Warranty, only GAP had been cancelled, (approximately 800.00) and that they were waiting on us to bring them the paper work. My wife then went back to the office to finish the paperwork necessary per the Office Manager ‘Susan’ and said she would overnight the payment to Ford Credit and gave my wife a confirmation of cancellation. Also, she would send confirmation of the refund when it was applied to the principle at Ford Credit. My wife nor I have received a phone call or an email from any person from Anderson Mazda Ford as of the morning of September 5, 2018. On September 5, 2018 I called the office manager ‘Susan’ and explained that I had confirmation of the cancellation and asked why it had not been applied to my principal. I was informed by the office manager that there is a fraud investigation concerning checks written by the dealership to Ford Motor Company Financing and after a long hold on the phone, she found out that our check for our cancelled policy is the third check they found involved in the fraud case. I called Ford GAP and Extended Warranty office to pursue answers and they said they would contact Anderson Ford. Susan called back that evening to state that she had a phone call from the warranty office and said to me, and I quote, “Since we are out that money, so are you, sorry”, but would email us with legal confirmation of the cancellation per my request. Anderson Ford has not returned my call or emailed as promised with any cancellation confirmation, recommendations or answers. I spoke with Mia at Ford GAP Insurance and Ford Protection and they money had been sent to Anderson Mazda Ford as of July 19, 2018. They have also called Anderson Ford with no reconciliation or attempt at it as of September 17, 2018. A copy of this complaint was sent to Customer Relations in Dearborn, MI on September 5, 2018. To this date we have had no response from Ford at all. We have been buying Ford trucks and vans for many years for personal and company purposes. I have already had to recommend someone other than Ford to four people who bought personal and company vehicles. More

Only 1 Ford certified diesel mechanic and I was told he is over loaded. I need my truck more now since Hurricane Florence is approaching. I have 38 ft LQ horse trailer and 4 horses that I need to move to safety. No communication from service department unless I call them. This is warranty work !! My 4th Ford truck now up I am getting rid of it when they fix it and going to a Chevy. This is how they treat loyal Ford customers ?????? The only helpful person there to get me a loaner was Tom Brock used car manager after 3 days being without a vehicle at all. A Ford Escape does not pull my horse trailer !!!! More
Poor Service Anderson Ford in Anderson SC. Buyers BEWARE By far the worst dealership around. The GM and service manager will not return my calls. I have Anderson Ford in Anderson SC. Buyers BEWARE By far the worst dealership around. The GM and service manager will not return my calls. I have a 2013 truck that was purchased new from this dealership. The truck has been "repaired" 7 times for various issues. The service manager told me this dealership currently does not have any qualified Ford technicians to do warranty work. My truck will hopefully be repaired by Benson Ford in September 2018. It is obvious this dealership is a scam. They will not even tell you who owns the dealership and Ford Corporate could care less if a dealership ruins their reputation. Anderson Ford has caused Ford to lose a customer for life. More

I do not recommend this shop for any type of service. I'm so disappointed in the whole experience. Not even sure I would even purchase a vehicle here. I would have given no stars if possible. More

He was honest and very respectful of me and my time. Jonah was able to give me a deal that was really incredible. The accounting gentleman was also extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient.
