PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I wish I could rate them negative stars. My husband bought a $45,000 used truck from them in January, drove it for about a month and a half and the transmis I could rate them negative stars. My husband bought a $45,000 used truck from them in January, drove it for about a month and a half and the transmission messed up. We are pretty sure they knew about it and still sold it anyways because my husband even questioned the salesman, Garrett, during the test drive about something the truck did which we know now was the transmission. But he reassured my husband that it was only the truck adjusting shifts. We trusted Garrett and Ford but they screwed us over really really bad. the truck is modified and again we were reassured by Garrett that the truck would still be covered under warranty even with it being modified if anything were to happen to it. LIES LIES LIES. We are now stuck with a $45,000 truck that is not drivable and looks like it’ll cost at least $5000 to have transmission fixed. We have contacted Ford numerous times about helping with this matter but no luck because they do not care. Y’all please stay away from this place I am begging you. It has caused us a lot of headache and stress. They will tell you what you want to hear just to make a sell. At the end of the day that’s their job, and they will do anything to get their job done. They care nothing about you as a person, as a customer. They are heartless! And let’s not get started on the service department....took the truck for diagnostics to make sure it was the transmission. They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with at a dealership. Again they care nothing about you as a customer. Originally when my husband called to see how much it would be to have the diagnostics done and the lady said at least $100 an hour. But when we went to pick the truck up(because we refuse to give them more of our money to fix the truck) we asked how much did we owe to the diagnostics well she said we didn’t owe anything.....WELL I GUESS NOT BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY SCREWED US OVER BY SELLING US A LEMON!!! BUYER BEWARE DONT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY BECAUSE IT IS ALL LIES. More
This dealership sets the bar for excellence. I felt so comfortable that I bought a new truck. Y’all might wonder why that is important. Well, anytime I spend more than 100 bucks, I fret. When I stopped by comfortable that I bought a new truck. Y’all might wonder why that is important. Well, anytime I spend more than 100 bucks, I fret. When I stopped by Anderson Ford, my only intention was to test drive a new truck and get some questions answered.Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. So much impressed me, I drove home my new truck the next day. They filled the tank, made that truck shine from the hood to the rear bumper including the tires. Easily the most worry free major purchase I have ever made. To Grizz and the whole staff, thank you! I am now a life long customer. More
In a nutshell, nothing went well , and everything could have been improved. The "Check Engine" light came on in my 2018 Ford Expedition with about 19,000 miles on it, and I called , and everything could have been improved. The "Check Engine" light came on in my 2018 Ford Expedition with about 19,000 miles on it, and I called Anderson Ford to set up an appointment to have it fixed, realizing that it would likely require 2 visits, one for diagnosis and a second to actually perform the repair if parts were needed. I set up the first appointment for February 27 and, after diagnosis, a purge valve was ordered. After the part was received, I set up a second appointment for March 9. On March 9, after approximately 90 minutes, I was informed that the Ford maintenance website was down (some information was apparently required from the site to perform the repairs), so I rescheduled for March 11. On March 11, I again returned to Anderson Ford, and after again waiting approximately 90 minutes, I was told the wrong part was ordered. Apparently, or at least I was told, there are 2 purge valves, and the wrong one was ordered. I left the vehicle with Anderson Ford overnight, and the part came in the next day, March 12, the purge valve was replaced and the "Check Engine" light extinguished. Several days later, the "Check Engine" light came back on. I again called Anderson Ford, set up an appointment, and brought the vehicle in for service on March 23. I was told the diagnosis would take about 45 minutes. After an hour and a half, I was then told the vehicle needed one more test, but that piece of test equipment was being used on another vehicle. After an additional 45 minutes, the service manager informed me that my vehicle had "too much fuel." I had never heard such a thing, but apparently the tests require that the vehicle be between 1/4 - 3/4 (25 - 75%) full, and my vehicle was 90% full. At this point, I raised my voice (not yelling) and asked if they did not know that this test (or tests) required a certain fuel level? I received a dismissive response along the lines of they didn't know until the test equipment told them. I asked if this was the first time they had performed such a test. I asked if this information was a state secret. I asked if they thought it appropriate to inform customers, in advance, that a certain fuel level might be required. The service manager turned his back and left the waiting area. I followed him to his office, again asking if this was a known requirement. At this point several things happened nearly simultaneously. First, I was threatened with having the police called. Second, as I was saying I would take the vehicle to another dealer, the service manager told me Anderson Ford would no longer service my vehicle. So to recap... 5 visits to Anderson Ford, and I still don't know what is wrong with the vehicle. Never again, and I encourage others to think twice before visiting this dealership. As a footnote, I called Lake Keowee Ford to set up an appointment. After telling the consultant/advisor that my "Check Engine" light was on, he closed the conversation by informing me that the test required that my vehicle have between 1/4 and 3/4 tank of gas. More

I wanted to collect the information I was looking for before my planned trip to the dealership. Upon arriving I was greeted by a salesperson and introduced to the person I had been speaking with over the phone. The salesman, Marion, took over from there and did a fantastic job in getting us into our new Explorer! We can't thank him enough for making it so fun and easy, as well as the management staff for being so accommodating and easy to work with. We'll be coming to Anderson Ford for all our future purchases, as well as sending our family and friends! Thank you, The Martin Family More

I just bought my car there a few months ago and the Catalytic Converter needs replaced and I already need new tires. So, I get to smell rotten eggs (sulfur) if I accelerate too hard! I have went to the Catalytic Converter needs replaced and I already need new tires. So, I get to smell rotten eggs (sulfur) if I accelerate too hard! I have went to the Quick Lane where you get your oil changed - that is supposed to be included in whatever plan I have, and the two times that I have went they were not very helpful at all with explaining what the plan that I have from when I purchased my vehicle actually covers. They acted as if it was some type of chore! My first visit to get my oil changed I sat there for over two hours. The second visit I made to get my oil changed that is supposed to be free, a guy came out to me at the last minute (AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED) and said I owed him $50. They ended up correcting that and I did not have to pay anything, but I got to the Service department around 1 o’clock and I did not leave until around 5 o’clock. No one should have to sit there that long to get an oil change. To top the whole situation off, my TPS light was on after I left and I checked the pressure in my tires and they put 65 pounds of air in my tires. It’s almost like they wanted them to pop driving down the highway. It was completely ridiculous! Oh, Forgot to mention that it took literally almost 3 months to get a tag for my vehicle. I had to go back to the dealership which is 30 minutes from my house to get more temporary tags. I still can’t believe they sold me a year old vehicle with a bad Catalytic Converter! I told them about it and no one ever called me back. Go figure. More
