One week before Christmas I was in a car wreck. A young man made a left turn directly in front of me in a SUV and I t-boned him with my 2006 Ford Fusion. The ins co totalled my car which only had 4 payments left. After getting the ins money, my husband and I went only to Anderson Ford. We had purchased a total of 4 new cars with them previously (an Explorer that is still running fine with over 300,000 miles on it, a Ford Focus, a Mercury Mountaineer and my Fusion). We were very pleased with the treatment we received with the sales staff, finance, and service on all four vehicles and were happy to find that they were even better (if that is possible) when we needed a new car for me right away. The 2011 Twilight Black fully loaded Ford Fusion with my must-have heated leather seats and moonroof is just what I needed to help me want to eventually get in a car again. Harry is a gem! He knows what we like and doesn't mess around. He and my husband found the right car for me the day after the accident and all I had to do was drive it and agree that it had the get up and go and nice features I always look for in vehicles. Harry knows what my husband wants in price, performance, and service and the dealership delivers that to us every time. Jeremy was great in helping me set up my SYNC account and system before I left the day I drove my car home. And I know Steve at the quick lube shop will take good care of the oil changes and anything else. We always get the quickest service with them. Richard is honest and understanding when we have used the Service department for anything too. Even when my old Focus needed work a year ago after my daughter had been driving it for three years. Anderson Ford will always get our business. I would recommend them and Ford products to anyone. Sharon Myers More
Everyone we dealt with was very nice, friendly and very helpful. Chu was really helpful in getting our phones loaded in and all the internet settings so it was done when we left the dealership. We had checked out many different car dealerships before our purchase, including Kansas City. No one was able willing to work with us after out bankruptcy, but Anderson Ford was able to get us into a car w our purchase, including Kansas City. I bought a used 2008 Ford Escape from this dealer about 6 months ago. When we were negotiating the price, we asked for the Kelly Blue Book Value on the vehicle I was looking at. It was listed at $4,000 less months ago. When we were negotiating the price, we asked for the Kelly Blue Book Value on the vehicle I was looking at. It was listed at $4,000 less than the asking price. We asked them to go down a little and they wouldn't budge. The salesman was very hard to work with and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a vehicle there. With all the hidden fees and GAP Insurance(that didn't cover the bad tires that the Escape had on it when they sold it to me), the total cost was almost $6,000 above Kelly Blue Book price. The worst part of all is that I needed the vehicle that day(since my other Ford completely quit running), so I couldn't decline the offer. More
My wife and I bought a new car from Anderson in May of 2006. Initially the experience was good, the people were friendly and the service was fast. We had put some money down on the car and during the final paperwork purchased GAP insurance in case of an accident. In July of 2008 I was involved in an accident with the vehicle we bought from them and the car was considered a total loss. Our insurance covered what the car was still valued at and thank goodness we had bought the GAP insurance to cover the rest. So my wife calls Anderson about the GAP insurance after the accident and someone in financing tells her that everything would be taken care of and if there was a problem we would recieve a call. We never got called back so we assumed everything was being taken care of like we were told. A few weeks go by and then we get a bill from the bank that Anderson had us financed through. So we call Anderson and ask them why we are still getting a bill for the car and someone tells us to call our insurance company about it, so we call them and they tell us that Anderson had never even made a file for the wreck and had never made the claim for the GAP coverage. Our issue with this is still ongoing. More
