Customer Service: I did not have a chance to print off my info from AutoTrader before going to the dealership, but Jeremy looked it up for me. Price: I really wanted to purchase a vehicle for $5000 or less but since the timing of the purchase required a loan, the vehicle I ultimately purchased met all my requirements except price. More

I had heard from a friend who bought their last new vehicle from you, on how good Anderson Ford dealership in St. Joseph was and that I ought to give them a try. I called your dealership and was fortunate to speak to Ben McGary. I told him what I was looking for and what I was going thru trying to deal with a local K.C. Ford dealership. Ben got busy on his computer to find F-150 Lariat 4x4's, with features that I was looking for. By the time I got up there, he had found 3, all of which were at other dealer locations. He called to let me know and set up a time, that I could come look at the invoices and trucks on your lot. I looked at all 3 invoices, ruled out one, then decided to "test drive" some of yours. I liked features of all of them, except "interior" color and/or the "off road" feature of one. We went back inside, talked more and I bought one of the original 3 that Ben had found on the internet. He told me that it would be late Thursday night before the truck could get down to St. Joseph. I had plans for Friday, so I was able to get my new truck on New Years Eve. Ben was the most sincere and honest person that I have dealt with, for being such a young man. I could tell by my phone conversation that I was going to like him, due to his politeness and attentiveness to my "wants & wishes" for my new truck. The only thing that this truck did not have that "all" the other trucks that I had test driven, was a bed liner & running boards!!! There was no way that I could get in that truck without the running boards and I will have the "sprayed in" bed liner added later. My experience with everyone in your dealership was outstanding. All the way from the very nice "office lady" June, on down to other sales persons and personnel. Guy in the finance office was very kind and knowledgeable in his work and was able to arrange everything for me. Ben was so patient with me, making this buying decision all alone, "almost" pain free. He did not "rush" nor try to "sell" me anything more than what I was looking for. I discussed the possibility of trading in one of my vehicles, a 1997 Ford E-150 conversion van, but decided against it since I wouldnt get what I felt it was worth. So I am now in the process of donating it to the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and a family in Ft. Leonardwood, MO. will become the new owners of it. This is the 2nd Ford Edge I have purchased from Anderson Ford. They were really great in locating the exact package and color that I wanted.
