I've had two separate experiences with this dealership. The first was when I had some emissions work done under warranty to my Taurus. I took the car to another Ford dealer who discovered that the tech who serviced my car at Anderson's had neglected to securely reconnect the wire to the number one spark plug. For this I was charged $50. When I complained to Anderson the best they could do was a coupon for a free oil change. Fast forward 5 years later when I purchased a new Taurus (my previous one was purchased at a different Ford dealer). After being told by the sales department that my payments would be no more than a certain amount I was very upset to find out that the figure had been misquoted and that the actual payment amount was $5 more than originally quoted. Had it not been for my wife urging me not to make a scene I would have taken my trade-in and walked. A few weeks later the business manager called telling me that since my trade in had been a leased vehicle I would be receiving a refund of my lease deposit and that I was supposed to sign it over to them. I looked at my sales contract and found no such requirement. Needless to say, I kept the refund. I will not do business with this dealer again and have urged many of my friends and acquaintances to steer clear of them More
