We had been searching for a new vehicle for some time now and had had great experiences with this dealership for our first car, so decided to go back for our second. First of all I am one of the few who like to negotiate on the purchase price. John did a great job explaining why they went to a listed price, and how this made the buying process easier and smoother. Alth the purchase price. Although I did my research prior to purchasing, Anderson’s price was $6,000 to $8,000 less for the same make, model, trim, and mileage of other used 2009 I found at different dealerships. It wasn’t worth the time and hassle to even try getting the other dealerships down. John was able to get a fair trade price, very friendly, and his service was outstanding. Remember, if your going to Anderson’s go to John! More

Looking to trade my 06 F150 in for a more fuel efficient and cheaper vehicle. I initiated the contact with Anderson via their website. As many others have done, I filled out the online credit application an and cheaper vehicle. I initiated the contact with Anderson via their website. As many others have done, I filled out the online credit application and was contacted by John V. I was informed that there were several options available for me. The following weekend my wife and I drove the 2 hour drive from Sioux City, IA to Lincoln, NE. John was off that day which was no problem. We were just curious as to what was available. The sales manager set us up with Bill Lyle instead. Then to find out that the online credit application was LOST??? and I was required to fill it out again. As Bill couldn't figure out the computer and had me fill out the forms on their computer. I asked why they needed to run my credit again. Bill said they would only run it once. turns out they sent it to several banks that ran it several times to bing my 780 score down!!! Didn't seem as though Bill cared too much about the sale. We were then shown a 2006 Ford 500 which seemed nice but had no price shown. Every time I asked for the numbers, I was told that "This car will work, We can make it work"??? I was looking for choices and instead was being pushed at a car that yes it was nice but no price. When asked what I had to put down on loan, I told them 1000 is all I had for down payment. I was then asked countless times if I had more cash to put down at the same time placing papers in front of me asking me to sign. they were stating that I would agree to pay the difference between agreed payoff amount of my current loan and actual payoff balance. Not one time was anything shown to me with the price of the car or the trade-in value of my truck. I said "No. Not until I see the numbers and other possible vehicle options." Bill replied "Sure, no problem." only to return a few minutes later asking for a higher down payment about 500 more for the car I wasn't even sure on. I finally got fed up with the gimmicks and told them that I was not comfortable with the deal and will be leaving as it was getting late and I still had at least a 2 hour drive home. So we left... That following Monday, Bill called me to inform me that they could get me into the Ford 500 for the 1000 down payment that I had... SERIOUSLY it took me leaving and driving home 2 hours. No way am I driving back down another 2 hours Later that same week, John V. called me to apologize about how everything didn't work out and was wondering what happened. I told him what happened and he did't seem at all surprised. He offered to re-check the numbers and get back to me with some other options. I called him back with my updated payoff balance and haven't heard back from him. ??? absolutely not impressed with experience and just seemed like another dealership with the same pushy gimmicks. just for reference my credit score is 780 avg and have been a long time loyal Ford owner as I currently own 5 and have had somewhere near 20 previously. What have I gained from this experience? A lower credit score from multiple pulls, empty fuel tank, and 6 hours gone. Update - Was contacted by Manager Nathan from dealership. He apologized for the unfortunate events that occurred leading to my review. First off, I was not expecting a response from dealership about my review. He continued to state that they take their customer reviews very seriously and in instances such as a bad experience. Both sides of the story need to be told and in conclusion they can possibly improve on future customer experiences. I certainly do hope so. It really would be awesome to work with a dealership that operates on different sets of principals from what so many others operate on. To me a response and follow-up call is a step in the right direction. Open and upfront honesty in operations are a couple others. Don't want to feel pushed, swindled, or conned from a dealership. The best thing you can do is be the most informed and prepared buyer you can be. Thank you More
I ordered a new vehicle in Nov 11; vehicle was delivered in Jan 12. Vehicle was in good condition, clean, and equipped with everything I ordered. Sales staff were professional and courteous. I normally hate buying vehicles from dealerships because I have always felt pressured to buy the car the salesperson wants to sell rather than the car I want to buy... Working with Javier and Nate was ex I have always felt pressured to buy the car the salesperson wants to sell rather than the car I want to buy... Working with Javier and Nate was exactly the opposite. We felt that they had our best interests at heart throughout the process, and they were constantly checking in with us to figure out which vehicles we liked best. When we were having difficulty making the final decision on which vehicle to purchase, Javier spent several hours over three evenings with us! He even asked my wife not to make a spur of the moment decision and to, instead, think about it overnight. Seriously, what car dealer does this???? They treated us as friends, not as potential sales. Everyone at Anderson was a pleasure to deal with, but Javier and Nate go above and beyond. We will buy our next vehicle from them, too. More
We had been shopping for a new SUV for almost 2 months. We found a Kia Sorento at Anderson Ford online and stopped in to look at it. We showed up at the dealership very near closing time. Javier greeted us and took time to talk to us about the car and answer our questions. Even though our test drive and negitiations kept him therer an hour past closing time, we never felt rushed. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and took time to explain everthing to us in detail. We would HIGHLY recommend Anderson Ford AND Javier! Very easy to deal with and we got a great deal! More
