This is by far the best KIA dealership that I have ever been to. I would highly recommend this dealership for the service. The people are very professional and knowledgeable. Daniel was very helpful, came right out and found my appt on his iPad and explained all that was being done per the two recalls on our Kia Optima. Regarding the "vehicle health report", it needs to be more specific as to what was checked by the technician and provide a full MPI, not just tire tread levels, brake pads "ok". If you’re going to the dealer for work done, you expect the best…the vehicle health report that I received would be common if going to Firestone, Pepboys, etc. There should be a battery check, fluid check, boot check, front and rear differential check, etc. I was given nothing of sorts. Additionally, I was told that I needed an oil change when I've only driven 2500 since my last oil change. The service advisor stated that the tech checked the oil level when in reality, I'm lead to believe it was only the sticker that was checked which was read wrong by both the tech and advisor. The advisor stated that my dipstick was initially dry but upon calling back, he’d stated that the oil level was low after I'd explained to him that the oil sticker mileage was accounted for when changed, not needs to be changed. I’d also asked him during the first call whether I’d had a potential leak being that my dipstick was said to be dry but shouldn’t that be the first thing you check prior to calling me and telling me that I need an oil change when it’s not even due? My annoyance had nothing to do with spending $80 on an oil change, I’m upset because I was worried that I may have a leak somewhere that I may have had to spend $1,000 plus on…on that second phone call, the tech had recanted his initial statement by stating that the oil level was just low and they’d top it off. Although I appreciate the generosity, I believe that you wouldn’t have needed to “help me out” if your diligence had been implemented before the first time you’d called. It's best to do things right the first time instead of needing to go back and do the same thing again, not only wasting the technician or service advisors time but my own. I give Ian a 4.5 star review for his work but being mindful that your jobs requires you to be the mediator between the technician and service advisor, I’m unsure as to who was in the wrong but it’s easy to check the dipstick yourself and verify the writing on the oil change sticker to ensure you’re providing proper information the first time around. More
I am grateful ti the team members who scheduled me an appointment expeditiously, greeted me with smiles and assisted me with a car issue I was concerned about.
