I took my 2023 RAM 1500 into the shop today to have it serviced for the following: 1. Oil leak- in which I was later informed I had a “loose filter”. I personally did the oil change myself and have don serviced for the following: 1. Oil leak- in which I was later informed I had a “loose filter”. I personally did the oil change myself and have done so for over 20 years with no issues. After I observed oil in my driveway, I double checked the tightness of the plug and filter and found them to be tight. Now if the oil filter was leaking from the seal, I probably would’ve noticed oil around the filter; it was bone dry. 2. Turn signal recall issue which was confirmed my last visit (early October)for a separate recall. I was informed by service tech Justin Arkell that the part would arrive in approximately two weeks. During my visit today I was informed the part was being slowly being manufactured and the issue would not be repaired with no timeline. I was charged $177.70 for the service which was not covered by the warranty. At this point I will not buy another RAM and am considering a trade in for another manufacture. More
I went for an oil change and tire rotation, and they didn't torque my tires or secure wheel caps! I drove off and of course went back when I heard the noise and felt the wobbling. Then, they left my Jee didn't torque my tires or secure wheel caps! I drove off and of course went back when I heard the noise and felt the wobbling. Then, they left my Jeep tools from my glove box on my seat. I don't have the doors on my Jeep, so they easily would have gone flying out. Luckily, I hadn't driven too far when I noticed them. This is unacceptable and SO dangerous! I incurred damage to my rims. I was told they would replace the damaged rims, but they are discontinued. All 5 of my rims now need to be replaced. I was told they would cover that cost. They gave my $1,000 but that's not enough to cover 5 rims, and not even close to the same quality I originally had! I found some crappy ones that were at least the same color for $1,600. I was told by the service manager (Craig) that they would cover the difference, so I ordered them. When I got to the store to pick up and pay I called the dealership and was told by the service manager's boss (Todd) that they would not pay. He told me that the $1,000 was to "make me whole again" and it took explaining several times that it simply was not enough. By the end of the conversation, Todd admitted that it was not enough to "make me whole again" and get my Jeep back to the same condition it was prior to the damage they caused, but he wasn't giving me more money. I'm now out $600 for crap quality rims I don't even like! When I went back to the dealership to have them installed, I confirmed several times on the phone and in person (during this entire situation) with Rob, Craig, and Todd that the mount, balance, and alignment would be covered for free. But when I got a call from the mechanic installing my rims, he said Todd told him that I would not be getting the alignment covered. I had to talk to Cory, and I think he took care of it because when I picked up my Jeep all services were covered. However, I'm still out $600. I only ever wanted my Jeep to be back in the condition it was before the dealership damaged it. I'm a USAF mechanic, so I understand human mistakes, and while this is an UNACCEPTABLE mistake that is not only BASIC maintenance, it's potentially life threatening. I'm not going after the mechanic's job. I just want the $600 to cover the rest of the cost of the rims. I work 2 jobs in addition to being active duty. I work hard for the money I earn, and I really don't have $600 to pay for rims (especially rims I don't like and are poor quality), yet here we are. I was stuck with them due to the dealership's negligence and deception. I don't want to be the person that consistently posts on social media about my bad experience, but I will. I'm in deep with the base (JBER). I have significant reach amongst the Army and Air Force personnel. I'm embedded within the local Jeep community. I also volunteer and am active in the Anchorage community. I can't get better rims to make up for this xxxxty situation, but at least you help by not making me pay out of pocket for YOUR negligence. Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM you need to do better! P.S. Rob was excellent throughout this whole ordeal. He's always been great, and he deserves a raise. Craig should probably retire, and Todd should be reprimanded and suspended without pay. Also, whoever was answering the phone the day I called from the shop to get the dealership to pay for the rims, the person who answered the phone needs remedial training. The guy at the shop commented on how she sounded like her soul was dying every time we needed to be connected to someone else, and my experience with her when I got on the phone was unpleasant as well. She was clearly irritated about having to transfer calls, which is literally her JOB. More

Had an appointment at 0900 on a Friday, they don't even start on it until after lunchtime. They say they need it over the weekend to diagnose the screen locking up and a blown speaker (I live a couple hour start on it until after lunchtime. They say they need it over the weekend to diagnose the screen locking up and a blown speaker (I live a couple hours from Anch so that's a no-go). They were checking the wrong speake I clearly stated it was the passenger front, the paper they wrote said passenger front, tech said nothing was wrong because he was checking the drivers side speaker. When I got him to turn to the blown speaker he pretended he didn't hear anything wrong despite there being a distinct classic blown speaker rattling sound. Said the needed 3 more hours to diagnose, which is conveniently how long they were late on starting work on it. I will not be taking any vehicles there in the future. More
Had vehicle serviced, new spark plugs, fuel injection cleaning, new radiator (developed pinhole leak), coolant flush. Service tech forgot to connect air intake parts, non OEM coolant was installed, mi cleaning, new radiator (developed pinhole leak), coolant flush. Service tech forgot to connect air intake parts, non OEM coolant was installed, missing various fasteners, missing one of two radiator braces that prevent forward movement. Put 1300 miles on before realizing I had no air filtration. Decent work, terrible attention to detail, and terrible customer service. Once this ordeal is done, never going back. More

These guys are almost criminal, don’t get your car fixed here, better going to someone honest. Brought my dodge in trying to identify a noise it was making at 40+ mph. The mechanic diagnosed a loose and wo here, better going to someone honest. Brought my dodge in trying to identify a noise it was making at 40+ mph. The mechanic diagnosed a loose and worn rear prop shaft and recommended replacement. That alone cost me over $200. The service rep said I needed to buy the parts before work could be done and wanted $2,500!!, For parts. Needless to say, I was shocked and there is no guarantee that is the problem or would fix it. I went on the internet and found a rear prop shaft at Amazon for $370 brand new. So, I Went to a local mechanic and had him look at the rear prop shaft and also diagnosis the noise. He said the rear prop shaft looked fine, but diagnosed the front wheel bearing needed replacement, which he did for $370. Noise is gone and car runs fine. The dodge mechanic is either incompetent, a crook, or both. Won’t be going back there. More
