But when we got there, we were directed to "the only one that you want" and when we asked about other models, "none were in stock". After being pressured to purchase "their" choice at almost $70,000, we left, without a list of options available to look at for the F250 we originally asked for. The next day I called and spoke with Jim McCarron, who listened to what I was wanting, and what the Ford dealership was offering. He said, "I have just the thing". He drove over the Dodge equivalent of the Long Ranch: But this was a MUCH nicer truck! It was a 3500 Laramie Longhorn diesel. He went over all the options, and actually did the paperwork and loan application right at my location. When my husband came home, we went over to the dealership and just signed the papers, and drove away. It was the easiest and smoothest purchase ever. No BS, just straight talk, and no pressure.
