After seeing a particular Ram truck on-line, I decided to stop in and see it in person and if it was the truck for me. I had heard from a close friend/co-worker that he had a very bad experience with Anchora stop in and see it in person and if it was the truck for me. I was pleasantly surprised after just a "first impression" chat with Chris Hull!! He actually listened to all of my concerns, needs, wish list options, etc. To me, Chris Hull is one of the best truck salesman I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I purchased a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 from Anchorage Chrysler, making it the 4th Dodge Ram I've purchased in the past 15 years in Alaska! The previous 3 were purchased at Lithia Dodge. They didn't have the model and features that I was looking for this time in purchasing a new truck, so I took a look at Anchorage Chrysler and truthfully say that this was THE best experience I've ever had in purchasing ANY new vehicle!! I'd just like to add that both Travis Richardson and Tony Mingus exceeded my expectations of dealing with "high pressure salesmen" or even some finance guys that want to sell you everything under the sun....whether you need it or not. He will select a wide assortment of cars that meet your needs or try to find something that will work for you on what your looking for in a vehicle. Though he strays away from some specific requests you may have just a quick reminder of what your looking for puts him right back on track. Over all I would rate this dealership at 3.5 stars as a total only due to the fact that when it comes to paper work it feels like things are just being handed to you without being explained as to what exactly your signing. Over all the process was easy and painless thanks to Gordon. O was somewhat skeptical when first walking in and it seemed as though their selection was not as wide as other dealers but dispite that they still found something I was comfortable with buying and still gave me one xxxx of a deal.
