First New Car I inquired about a vehicle I found on their website before I made the move to Anchorage (I was a couple weeks away from graduating college in upstate I inquired about a vehicle I found on their website before I made the move to Anchorage (I was a couple weeks away from graduating college in upstate New York), when Van called me. He was very patient with me and only called to check in on my progress with my move and seemed that he genuinely wanted to help me find a good car. Once I got to Alaska, he checked in a couple of times and once I got a job lined up, I made my visit to the dealership to start the process. I had done extensive homework on my own to figure out what I wanted, when I decided on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee in Granite Crystal. We sat down with Van and started the paperwork to see if I could qualify. However, due to the time of the day, we wouldn't know until the next day if I would be approved. Because I was still so new to my job and wasn't making a whole lot of money, we went out to the lot to consider a back-up vehicle (2014 Jeep Patriot). Van was highly knowledgeable about those as well (he informed us that he bought one for his wife not too long ago), and we took it for a test drive. It didn't strike me as much as the Cherokee did, but I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would. The next day I received a call that my loan came through and I raced right over there. Van had everything all set and after we filled out the preliminary paperwork and just had to wait for the finance department to process everything, Van let me go sit in my new car and play around with it while we waited. Once it came back, I signed some paperwork (add the Maximum Care Warranty) and was out of there in no time. I had such a great experience here (the only thing I wish was different was that I asked if we could discuss coming down on the price, but we never did). This is a very small thing for me, because their prices were already lower than the other dealerships in the area, so I knew I was already getting a good price. More
