I took my 2023 RAM 1500 into the shop today to have it serviced for the following: 1. Oil leak- in which I was later informed I had a “loose filter”. I personally did the oil change myself and have don serviced for the following: 1. Oil leak- in which I was later informed I had a “loose filter”. I personally did the oil change myself and have done so for over 20 years with no issues. After I observed oil in my driveway, I double checked the tightness of the plug and filter and found them to be tight. Now if the oil filter was leaking from the seal, I probably would’ve noticed oil around the filter; it was bone dry. 2. Turn signal recall issue which was confirmed my last visit (early October)for a separate recall. I was informed by service tech Justin Arkell that the part would arrive in approximately two weeks. During my visit today I was informed the part was being slowly being manufactured and the issue would not be repaired with no timeline. I was charged $177.70 for the service which was not covered by the warranty. At this point I will not buy another RAM and am considering a trade in for another manufacture. More
