I first went to Anchor Subaru three years ago because I was ready to trade in my 2001 Subaru Outback. I was reluctant to buy because of my financial situation at the time so I opted to lease. I got a 201 was ready to trade in my 2001 Subaru Outback. I was reluctant to buy because of my financial situation at the time so I opted to lease. I got a 2011 Outback and a great lease. When I first made inquiries this year about returning the 2011, I was a little reluctant to lease again. I felt a purchase would be better. Mr. Novarro was helpful, explained the options and didn't pressure me either way. He was attentive without being too pushy. When I left the dealership I was leaning toward buying the 2011. However, when I returned, I had a change of heart and wanted to purchase, but was interested in the Forester model instead. I picked up my 2014 Forester last Thursday and have grown to LOVE it! It's sporty, fun to drive and Jorge was the best salesman! More
This is the 3rd Subaru we purchased from Anchor and the second from Jorge. My mother was interested in a 2012 Impreza and sought out Jorge after he was recommended by a friend. We had such a good experience with him last year, that when I decided to buy a 2013 WRX I drove all the way to Anchor (I live in Boston). Jorge was once again wonderful. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was going to pay. He was able to deliver on both fronts. No haggling, in fact he was able to throw in a couple of extra options at no cost after we landed on a price (below invoice). My only issue was waiting for the car to be delivered (about 8 weeks), but that is not something the dealer has any control over. I didn't have a problem with waiting as they essentially had to build it and ship it from Japan, but it was the inability to track the vehicle that was frustrating. If I spend $5 on Amazon, they can track a package from Hong Kong down to the minute, but a 30K car and they have no idea? I shared my feedback with Subaru of America and they basically said they know its a bad process and that they need to do better. That said, Jorge was really good about handling my frustration and made sure to follow up multiple times on his end to try to get an ETA. Once the vehicle arrived, Jorge called me right away and I came down a couple of days later for pickup. Jorge was detailing the outside of the car and was super thorough in walking me through the features etc. Financing was a breeze and I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing an extended warranty on the vehicle 5yrs/100k. The finance guy was also easy going and not pushy. He could see that I was crunching the numbers to get a good deal and I didn't even need to ask for him to get the number down as he picked up on my cues and brought the price down on his own. Anchor is by far the best Subaru dealer in MA or RI. Worth the trip for sure and Jorge is the man. More
This is the fifth car we have bought from this dealership. We have been happy with all of them. The service department is excellent and has been prompt in filling any of our requests. He listened carefully as to what we wanted in a vehicle and did not use high pressure tactics to get us to buy. There was no haggling as to price and no running back and forth to discuss the deal with the manager. This is a family run dealership and they treat their clients as such. We hope that they never become too large and lose this. More

We stopped in to replace our sons old subaru forester with a newer (used) one. Jorge was very helpfull in showing us all the options in our price range. We picked one the same color as he had before an with a newer (used) one. Jorge was very helpfull in showing us all the options in our price range. We were looking for a used SUV in the right price range and had some bad experiences with a few shady local used lots/salesmen. I also can't remember the finance associate who helped us, but he helped us get the monthly payment we were looking for even though we didn't have more than $500 for a down payment. I bought my Subaru Legacy 2011 and have had Anchor service it. Oil changes, tires rotated etc. My experience with the service dept. has always been very good. They take my car on time that it was scheduled, explain to me what they will do and about how long it will take; along with a car wash which is a nice touch. Jorge who sold me the car has always been gracious in answering questions about my car since I have owned it. Like why does the blue water temp light stay on, or how do I change the clock time since I have navigation . All in all, purchasing my Subaru from Anchor has been a very good experience. JP. More
I bought a used car from Derrek about three years ago and everything was great. The price was very fair and the quality of the car was amazing so I didn't expect anything to go wrong with the car. Back in the summer of 2012 my car broke down so I called the dealership but their service department was closed so I asked to speak to my salesperson Derrek. He listened to what was going on with the car and asked if he could call me back because he had to look into something. A few minutes later he called me back and told me a tow truck was on the way and not to worry because he was going to stay involved through the whole process. The next day Derrek called me to let me know that evrything was going to be handled. Even though the car was out of warranty he said that it wasn't going to cost me anything because I had been servicing the car on a regular basis with Anchor. I know most dealerships and salesmen would not go this far to make their customers happy so I wanted to thank everyone at Anchor. I would recommend Anchor Subaru or Nissan to everyone and I'll always tell them to ask for Derrek. More
