I bought a new Subaru XV in July 2013 st this dealership. I had a pleasure to be serviced by Ali. Highly recommend the salesperson and the dealership itself. Jorge was an excellent salesman, we have purchased from him several times in the past and hope to use him again in the future (hopefully not near future though). We were VERY disappointed with our experience at Anchor Subaru. My wife and I had visited other Subaru dealers looking for a 2014 Forester. We had a good idea of competitive pricing and trade in allowance for our Pathfinder. Anchor was the closest to our home and would be convenient for servicing. From the moment we were greeted we felt uncomfortable. We met with a sales rep very briefly before he left for ten minutes. Then when I mentioned we had a trade he asked for the keys and left us again for 25 minutes. After all of this he returned with the price for the Forester and the trade. It was way off. When I told him the other offers we had received he laughed, implied we were lying and said we might as well leave. My wife and I looked at each other, stood up and walked out. We ended up buying a 2014 Subaru last week from another dealer at a price $2600 less than they offered (exact same vehicle - options, etc) and received $2800 more for our Pathfinder. More
This was the third dealership I visited, the sales person was excellent was not at all high pressure on the sale. He helped me find the car I was looking for with the features and within the price rage and g was excellent was not at all high pressure on the sale. I was looking for a new car and trade for my current car, after researching vehicles on line i felt a subaru outback would b the car for me, I went to Anchor and was greeted by Jorge, from that point on my after researching vehicles on line i felt a subaru outback would b the car for me, I went to Anchor and was greeted by Jorge, from that point on my experience was great, he was very friendly and informative . I also felt no pressure from him to make a hasty decision I did have the opportunity to look around other dealers but made my way back to meet with Jorge and the negotiating was stress free. More

I first went to Anchor Subaru three years ago because I was ready to trade in my 2001 Subaru Outback. I was reluctant to buy because of my financial situation at the time so I opted to lease. When I first made inquiries this year about returning the 2011, I was a little reluctant to lease again. I felt a purchase would be better. Mr. Novarro was helpful, explained the options and didn't pressure me either way. He was attentive without being too pushy. When I left the dealership I was leaning toward buying the 2011. However, when I returned, I had a change of heart and wanted to purchase, but was interested in the Forester model instead. I picked up my 2014 Forester last Thursday and have grown to LOVE it! It's sporty, fun to drive and Jorge was the best salesman! More
This is the 3rd Subaru we purchased from Anchor and the second from Jorge. My mother was interested in a 2012 Impreza and sought out Jorge after he was recommended by a friend. We had such a good experience with him last year, that when I decided to buy a 2013 WRX I drove all the way to Anchor (I live in Boston). Jorge was once again wonderful. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was going to pay. He was able to deliver on both fronts. No haggling, in fact he was able to throw in a couple of extra options at no cost after we landed on a price (below invoice). My only issue was waiting for the car to be delivered (about 8 weeks), but that is not something the dealer has any control over. I didn't have a problem with waiting as they essentially had to build it and ship it from Japan, but it was the inability to track the vehicle that was frustrating. If I spend $5 on Amazon, they can track a package from Hong Kong down to the minute, but a 30K car and they have no idea? I shared my feedback with Subaru of America and they basically said they know its a bad process and that they need to do better. That said, Jorge was really good about handling my frustration and made sure to follow up multiple times on his end to try to get an ETA. Once the vehicle arrived, Jorge called me right away and I came down a couple of days later for pickup. Jorge was detailing the outside of the car and was super thorough in walking me through the features etc. Financing was a breeze and I ended up biting the bullet and purchasing an extended warranty on the vehicle 5yrs/100k. The finance guy was also easy going and not pushy. He could see that I was crunching the numbers to get a good deal and I didn't even need to ask for him to get the number down as he picked up on my cues and brought the price down on his own. Anchor is by far the best Subaru dealer in MA or RI. Worth the trip for sure and Jorge is the man. More
This is the fifth car we have bought from this dealership. We have been happy with all of them. The service department is excellent and has been prompt in filling any of our requests. He listened carefully as to what we wanted in a vehicle and did not use high pressure tactics to get us to buy. There was no haggling as to price and no running back and forth to discuss the deal with the manager. This is a family run dealership and they treat their clients as such. We hope that they never become too large and lose this. More
