We moved to Rhode Island in late August, and by the second day I had a wonderful used 2011 Outback with all of the options I could want in a car for a great price! I was referred to Derrek Lascola by a close friend who spoke very highly their dealings with Derrek. He's very patient and is very knowledgeable. So we drive almost 2 hours from New Hampshire to look at a vehicle at this dealer... And man I am glad we did. They were friendly and it was a great buying experience. We bought a 2010 GMC Acadia that was in excellent condition at a price nobody could beat!! Kevin Falcone the salesman was a pleasure to work with. After we had the vehicle for a week the A/C wasn't working correctly. I brought the vehicle to my local mechanic because I didn't want to drive back to rode island just for a small issue. I knew that this might be an issue when you buy a car far from home but I knew that going in. My guy fixed it and I covered the cost out of pocket rather then make the trip back to RI. A couple days later I get a follow up email from Kevin at Anchor to ask how the new car is. I tell him its great but we had one small issue with the A/C. he apologizes for any inconvenience and asks me to send him a copy of the repair. He goes and discusses it with the owner and I get a check in the mail covering the ENTIRE repair even though I brought it to my mechanic and not back to them!!! These guys are great! I would defiantly do business with them again. More

I love the fold down seats and before we know it, I will have an opportunity to drive it in the snow! Kevin Falcone is the best salesman out there, and I met a lot of salesmen this year! He did a fantastic job explaining the car mechanics and features that Impreza and Subaru have to offer! I felt very comfortable with all the information he shared and I knew I could trust him. I've received excellent support, and follow up since my purchase. I have also had two very pleasant experiences in the service department (for minor adjustments) as well. My wife and I were at your Subaru dealership on Monday August 12 to inquire about a 2012 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium we saw on your website. We were greeted by Mr. Shiloh Chauvin. We explained to him exactly what we were looking for, and from the very first introduction, we were impressed with the respect and professionalism he displayed in meeting our needs. He listened to what our criteria was and took the time to explain the products and solutions we needed to make an informed purchase. Shiloh answered ALL of our questions and provided information and options that we really didn't know were available! He also took the time and patiently produced the vehicles we were interested in test driving. although we were unable to find a suitable vehicle to purchase at this time,it was through no lack of professionalism on Shiloh's part. He did everything possible to make the sale. We will be looking at another time in the near future to purchase a vehicle and I hope we are able to maintain our relationship with your dealership and Shiloh. Anchor was recommended to me by a friend, so I was looking forward to dealing with them. However, I had a very similar experience to what several others mentioned where the prices they quoted to me we looking forward to dealing with them. However, I had a very similar experience to what several others mentioned where the prices they quoted to me were hundreds above closer dealerships. In fact, they were about $300 higher than the next worst offer, never mind the best offer I had. The sales person I spoke with kept insisting I come into the dealership to negotiate in person when I told them repeatedly their offer was the highest so I wasn't going to do that unless they at least gave me the expectation they could get in the range of other dealers. They don't seem comfortable with remote dealings, which I understand as it's easier to get a sale once the customer is in person, but why do I need to go there in person to get an answer to a basic question about one option? The average person has a busy schedule and can't spend 8 hours apiece in 10 dealerships to find the right match. I would have left things as was, but what put me over the edge with this dealer was their continued insistence that I must be imagining the offers I have from other dealers. If you can't beat a price from another dealer, fine, I understand. But when this happens, other dealers I know are cordial in their admitted defeat. Here, they insult the customer. And I'm only a day into negotiating. I have no sub-invoice prices or anything insane like that I'm working off of! You may get luckier than me as most dealerships have some good sales staff and some bad, The first person I spoke with was both quick to respond and very polite. But at minimum I highly recommend shopping around a little. It could save you $1000 or more. One other note: this dealership sends a LOT of email. Like twice as much as the next dealership I dealt with. More

The price negotiations were professional and fairly quick as was the loan and extended warrantee discussions with Derrick. I would certainly go back to Anchor and Jeorge again. More
