I want to say the salesman I dealt with was without a doubt the best I've ever met and if it wasn't for his manager / managers I would have done business with him. Over a six week period I had multiple phone conversations and visits with him and was ready to buy. I did the smart thing and visited other dealers to have prices. The salesman actually had me ready and willing to pay more than my other dealer quotes. I felt comfortable paying almost $600 more because of the relationship I built with this salesman and the fact that he's work there along time. He made me very comfortable with the dealership and their service department. When I made my offer of almost $600 higher than I was quoted at several other dealers the manager came in and said no. He said " I'm getting sticker for every one of these " which I thought was very sleazy considering I had other dealers selling it for less. I do wish I could have bought my new car and serviced it there. I find it mind blowing that I offered them more than I was quoted and the manager refused. I did go to another dealer and buy the exact car for the price I was quoted. I would like to service at Anchor because I'm close and the salesman showed me how well they've been doing with their customers but I think I'll probably wait for the Subaru dealer to open in Attleboro. It's a little further away from me but I don't feel comfortable going to Anchor with people like that being in charge. More

Excellent experience with Jorge. Very courteous and went out of his way to explain all the details of the transaction. I left confident that the purchase of the Forester was the best way to go. Shiloh was very helpful in finding me a new Subaru BRZ Limited. I needed a car immediately, and was under significant time pressure, but Shiloh managed to pull through and make sure that I was taken care Limited. We had an excellent experience at Anchor Subaru,both with the sale of our new car, and with some service we had done on our son's older Subaru. All dealers 'offer' internet sales but 98% won't answer your questions through e-mail but rather they begin to send endless junk e-mails and continuously request you "Come on down!". Donna, at Anchor, responded to all of my questions via e-mail without a problem. That fact is what actually drew me into the dealership. Once I arrived I met with Shar, salesperson extraordinaire! Shar is kind (very important) and very knowledgeable about the Subaru products. I never felt pressured or pushed and he was/is willing to go that extra step for you. Yes, I would highly recommend the Anchor dealership to anyone looking into the Subaru product. More
Our experience with Shiloh was very good. Shiloh is an asset to the company. He said that he got a little mixed up on the year of our trade-in, but the original value that was mentioned to us was more in asset to the company. He said that he got a little mixed up on the year of our trade-in, but the original value that was mentioned to us was more in line with the book value. It was his manager I didn't like very much. He was rather rude during negotiations and I nearly walked out. Then after the sale, I discovered another deception. He had told me that he would give me $1000 for our trade-in, and that if we traded in our vehicle our monthly cost would be in the 3-teens, and if we did not trade in our vehicle, it would be in the 330s. He wouldn't even give us a distinct figure, but we knew we wanted a Forester and Anchor is by far the closest dealer to where we live. He walked away from us (extremely rude) and said "trade-in or no trade-in?" as he was out of sight. I was so miffed by that point, I said "trade-in" just to be done with it. Then we found that our payment would be $318 (high teens... why couldn't he have said that to begin with?). After going home, I had made up my mind that there was no way I was just going to let our vehicle ($3000 trade-in value) go for $1000, so when we returned to pick up the car the next night I told them I wasn't doing the trade-in. Since they already made up the paperwork, they asked me to just give them the $1000 that they allowed for the trade-in. I said fine. Then I went home and did the math. If I spread that $1000 out over the 36 months, my monthly payment came out to $345, not something in the $330s, so in reality he was only allowing around $700 or so for our trade-in, not even the $1000 he rudely offered us. If i had realized that beforehand, I would have said, "The manager said that without the trade-in, the payment will be in the $330s. Please make up another sale agreement. We'll wait". Bottom line... I was too nice, the manager was too rude, we lost, he won, lesson learned. Now next summer, I may need to return to get another Forester for me... ugh! I better have my calculator with me! Then again, there won't be a trade-in to worry about at that time. One more thing... the dealership prided itself on telling me how well they treat their return customers, but the manager didn't even know that I currently have a 2002 Forester that I bought from them. But then again, shouldn't they treat ALL of their customers well... return or first time? More

Donna Benoit of Anchor responded within a day and with the deal we were looking for and the promise to get the car we were looking for. Within just hours we were in touch with Shilo Chauvin and purchased our vehicle without a hassle, without haggling & without leaving our home. Since our purchase we have reached out to Donna with a request that if honored would truly make this purchase so much more rewarding, and again Donna didn't disappoint.
