This was my first ' NEW " car purchase . I live in NYC . I was referred to Anchor Subaru by a friend who lives in Mystic , CT . She actually bumped me up to the model that came with all the features I was adding on to a lesser model and by doing that assisted in giving me a lower cost than any other dealer I contacted with the add ons as "STANDARD " features . Now that's a true salesperson. Surly the cost would have been higher but her game was honesty and satisfaction with every purchase . It's always more profitable to sell more for a slightly lower margin than to sell less with a higher margin. Turnover is key to success in sales of certain items and Anchor Subaru does this supremely . Greg Washington was my assigned sales person when I arrived at the dealership and Brian Benoit ,Dealer Owner was as attentive to detail as his wife / Internet Sales Mgr. was . They were friendly and considerate. We did have to wait along time for the finance people to get to us. I f I had to suggest anything it would be more people to help sop the wait isn't so long, But it was along time for the finance people to get to us. I found that the service I received from Jorge Navarro (Sales) backed up by Anchor's sales team far exceeded my expectations both in terms of detailed product knowledge, vehicle availability and pricing (they where certainly very competitive). This, coupled with common courtesy and no "hard sell", along with fact that I already had first hand experience of the company for several years, easily convinced me to buy from Anchor. Just got home from picking up my new legacy. Jorge was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I went to Anchor Subaru with a quote from another dealer for a Forester Limited. They not only matched the quote but beat it. They also gave me what I wanted for my trade in.
