This was our first time shopping at this dealer and it was an awesome experience, which ended with the purchase of a 2011 Subaru XT Touring Forester, complete with NAV and a boat load of accesories. Our salesperson, Micah, was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of this vehicle, from the engineering to the features, from stem to stern. He spent a goodly amount of quality time with us before the sale, as well as after our purchase - which was very refreshing, as other dealers we have dealt with in the past are only concerned with the "before" time. He even introduced us to the service manager and scheduled our first, complimentary, break-in oil change. Paulette, the dealer's Business Manager, was incredibly personable and a pleasure to deal with. She offered various financial options to us, for our ultimate choice and was not pushy, at all. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the normally dry part of the process fun! This was truly our most enjoyable car purchase. More

He did not use high pressure sales tactics, he let the car sell itself. I took it in today for it's first oil change and the service was quick. Did I mention that I had an appointment for next month, but we drove the car so much the past few weeks that it was needed a little early. They got me an appointment within an hour and a half of me calling. Everyone there has been fantastic. While my wife's car was getting her oil changed, I took a Forester out for a test drive. I think I know what my next car is going to be! More

They met our needs along with the price. We can tell a good dealership when you walk in and have to wait a few minutes for a sales person because they are all so busy. Happy we got Shar for salesman. Horrendous dealership. Poor service and attitude start at the top and trickle down. The sales manager is horrible, nasty and completely out of touch with how to deal with customers. Having purchased three vehicles from Anchor Subaru in the past, and being happy with those purchases, I decided to look into another Subaru at Anchor. I purchased a used Forrester from them, and within two past, and being happy with those purchases, I decided to look into another Subaru at Anchor. I purchased a used Forrester from them, and within two weeks, the car broke down on the New Jersey Turnpike! After repairs at a Subaru dealer in PA, I was informed that this vehicle had so many problems with it, that it should never have been sold in the condition that it was. The car was for my daughter, and at least three mechanics told her to sell it, and be done with it. It was sold at a loss, and was replaced with a Toyota. Not much was done by Anchor to solve the problems that this vehicle had, (and there were numerous problems). I feel that they just wanted to get rid of this car, and were not very honest as to its' condition, etc. After this experience, I then took my Subaru to be looked at at another dealer in Massachusetts. They fixed it in a timely manner, and I was very happy with the experience there. My husband also took his car there, and was equally happy. I now bring our Subarus to this dealership only. Beware of purchasing any vehicles in R.I., as they don't have the "lemon laws" that MA has. I will never go back to Anchor, and I make sure to tell anyone interested in a Subaru to avoid Anchor at all costs. They have lost an excellent customer forever. More

Brought my forester in for service after finding out my axle was broken they gave me a rental car for free! After helping me throught every step of the process and keeping me informed of where we were at axle was broken they gave me a rental car for free! I traveled a decent distance to get to anchor. The reason I dis was the selection they had on the website. After walking in I was greeted by my salesman Josh. I had a bad experience at another place where the salesman were borderline running to my car before I managed to put it in park! Anyway to make a long story short the staff and the deal it self was great and I even walked out paying a lil less than I expected! Love my new 2011 forester! More
