I brought my car in for a recall repair. I then got a quote for over $3100 of repairs they said I needed! I had a bad feeling about it, and took my car to our mechanic, turns out I only need I then got a quote for over $3100 of repairs they said I needed! I went to many dealerships in my life, and bought many cars, however this dealership felt more like an auction. Whoever pays more gets the car. When I spoke to Mike (the desk manager) and he refused to se cars, however this dealership felt more like an auction. Whoever pays more gets the car. When I spoke to Mike (the desk manager) and he refused to sell me the car because someone was paying him more money. The car was worth $32,899 with tax, fees and the registration the total would come up to around $36,000 out the door. Accessories are optional when it comes to the car however Mike (the desk manager), claims that the accessories must be paid for when it was clearly a given option. He wanted to make more money. When I left the dealership and went back home, I contacted the dealership again and someone else in the sales claimed that the same car I was looking forward to buying was also $36,000. At the dealership the accessories must be bought, however on the phone conversation the accessories did not have to be bought with the car. I wanted to buy the car upfront, however the dealership wanted me to take out a loan for a car I was already willing to pay for because someone was willing to buy the optional accessories for the car. As a willing paying costumer I felt discriminated against and my overall experience was very disappointing, I do not recommend coming here. It felt more like a scam and an auction rather than a dealership. More
Used sales manager Jacob does not honor advertised price and insists on adding options to "make his profit" . Game me a car price, estimated taxes and fees and we agreed. When actual taxes and fees were and insists on adding options to "make his profit" . Game me a car price, estimated taxes and fees and we agreed. When actual taxes and fees were $600 less than estimated (shouldn't he know better) he added them to the agreed price of the car. They continued to hard sell their original miscalculated estimated price. Very rude on the phone. Go somewhere else and don't be lured in by advertised prices that are not honored! More
Would not even give this dealership a one star if I could. This place is horrible. They put their prices on the website and market it as is, but then when you get there expecting to get the sticker pri could. This place is horrible. They put their prices on the website and market it as is, but then when you get there expecting to get the sticker price or price on the website, they add $7000 of fees to the car. I was looking at a used Hyundai Kona and the website had it at $18000 and when we got there they added unnecessary xxxx to the car like a digital license plate???? And paint protectant???? Like I didn’t ask for all this xxxx to be added to the car and then you’re asking me to pay for xxxx I don’t want???? That makes sense to you? Also the “manager” with an AirPod in his left ear you are rude, abrasive, and aggressive. Why treat your customer this way? You were pushing me to buy a car double its price at $36,000 for a used Hyundai Kona. Make that make sense. Run your business accordingly or don’t run it at all. Never ever recommending this dealership or coming back. Also Ken don’t bother replying to my review with your generic copy and paste response I don’t wanna read it. More
On August 31, 2021, I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL. Salesperson Steven Espino was the salesperson for our transaction. Steven Espino and Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Anaheim charged us at least $6 SEL. Salesperson Steven Espino was the salesperson for our transaction. We were contacted by Leo Ramirez on December 7, 2022 that the color car we were interested in was in transit to their dealership and highly recommended we come down and put a deposit down to reserve. Bottom the color car we were interested in was in transit to their dealership and highly recommended we come down and put a deposit down to reserve. Bottom line, when we started sale process, he sad they had no “up” charges but it turns out they had about $5,000 worth of dealer add ons. We said we didn’t want any of them but were told the digital license plate and nitrofill tires for $1474 could not be removed. We left and later received several emails from Leo about buying the car which we said we would buy at MSRP plus tax/license. He emailed back on December 12, 2022 great news that they would do MSRP plus tax and license minus $1750 for financing through Hyundai. We made an appointment for the next day and Leo asked what time and we responded 8 or 9am. No response back from him on the 12th but prepared to go to dealership on the 13th. Tried contacting him the morning of the 13th via email and cell phone to confirm time and no response. Contacted dealership and were told he wouldn’t be in today. When I said we were suppose to come in to finalize sale the operator then changed story and said well he’s not in yet today. Based on other reviews I just read, it appears the General Manager, Ken Smirz, encourages and condones this unethical practice as he has done nothing to correct it. Hyundai Motor Corporation should also address this unethical behavior as it reflects poorly on them and their product. More
Not happy with misleading discounted pricing they would not sell to me at! Waste of 3 hours of my time! Too many extras, accessory or extended warranties they pushed to increase their discounted price! Sal not sell to me at! Waste of 3 hours of my time! Too many extras, accessory or extended warranties they pushed to increase their discounted price! Sales manager admitted they would loose out over $3000 if they sold at the listed discounted price! So why do they do it? I, like most buyers, don’t want to deal with the unnecessary haggling. I see why their dealership has such terrible ratings! They lost a potential sale and customer with their admittance to their pricing! More
Should've heeded the reviews! They offer vehicles at discounted rates but tag on "Dealer Fees & Accessories" totaling over $7500, not to mention extended warranties fees on top of They offer vehicles at discounted rates but tag on "Dealer Fees & Accessories" totaling over $7500, not to mention extended warranties fees on top of that! They would not sell me the car at the discounted price without all the other accessories or fees! The manager stated they would lose out over $3000 if they did! So don't advertise discounted prices if you can't stand by them! I called them out for the xx as they would not budge and tried to justify the add on fees! Misleading discounted price advertising! Your tainting Russell Westbrooks name with your xx sales tactics! Would never recommend this place! Losing the sale is not as bad as losing a customer and getting bad reviews! More
Bait & Switch filled with hidden costs. Beware that prices you see on the website are nowhere close to what they try to sell you! I have been in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. This Beware that prices you see on the website are nowhere close to what they try to sell you! I have been in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. This dealership has one that fits what I’m looking for, but considering it was a previous rental vehicle and has a lot of miles I did not feel comfortable paying the asking price (on the website). I live about 30 minutes from the dealer so wanted to make sure they were willing to work with the price I felt comfortable paying, which is closer to what KBB and True car value it at. I spoke with a sales manager and he said we were “close” with the numbers and he would work with me to sell me the car. I arrived to the dealership at the time I had set with the sales person. They had to jump the car because the battery was dead for me to even take it for a test drive. Huge red flag for me, but if anything more reason form them to want to complete a sale. We sit down to talk numbers and instead of starting with the price on the website, which has dropped 3x’s in the last week or so, they added all these xx fees for extra things they claim they did to the vehicle…. Again NOT reflected in the sticker price posted on the website. Instead of negotiating from the posted price, the sales manager then tried to use the inflated fake price as his starting point. In the end he admitted they couldn’t go lower than the price on the website. Complete waste of time, and total xx by adding costs to cover dealer add-ons nobody asked for! A few tips to the dealer: - Bait and switch is illegal in California. Thanks to CCPA, you can’t hide behind the fine print like back in the day. I will be reporting my experience to consumer affairs. - Transparency in pricing is key. Take notes from the CarMax and Carvana’s of the world. Hidden fees do nothing but xxxx people off and require your sales/ finance managers to use forceful sales tactics that make for a horrible customer experience and question the morality of your staff. - Lifetime value of a customer will alsways pay off vs ripping them off and getting bad reviews. - Stop replying to these posts asking for follow up conversations. Actions speak louder than words and every single response to posts in this site is the exact same. Take accountability and fix the recurring issues which all seem to be related to bad sales tactics where customers feel like you are trying to rip them off! More
