they try to charge you $20k in upgrades they supposedly did to the vehicle before you got it and that you did not request (which i refused to pay for. they said the tires were new but 2 of them blew within did to the vehicle before you got it and that you did not request (which i refused to pay for. they said the tires were new but 2 of them blew within 2 weeks of getting the car. they say they are doing your license and registration but they don’t, they just pay the sales tax then you get a bill from the DMV in 2 weeks saying your registration is due. the sticker protectant they put on the doors peels as soon as you wash the car. it’s all lies. would never go back More

ZERO STARS - the very worst experience I have ever had. New engine repair was 3 months, was told I would have a new engine not a refurbished one, service manager would not even let me test drive the car w New engine repair was 3 months, was told I would have a new engine not a refurbished one, service manager would not even let me test drive the car with the tech because the engine didn't sound right. I was told if I didn't take the car I would be charged $250/day for storage, if I paid for a rental it was full price, and I was forced to take my car even though it was not running properly. They didn't install the skid plate it was in the back of my car, big grease mark on the back seat, FILTHY - 3 mos of baked on dirt, water in the cooling system and it was low, tires were low (1 was at 25), the engine was clicking, very limited power when I tried to accelerate. Very poor service from the 2 service reps and 2 different Service Managers. More
I had write this in order to help others avoid this place. They use the bait and switch tactic, by advertising the car at one price to get you in, then add $1000's in bogus unwanted addons. I don't normally do reviews but if I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in to look at a particular trim of a vehicle. My salesman, Tam, was fantastic! I was upfront with him about everything. I decided I wanted to see the numbers. As I was going through everything with Tam and was about to purchase the car, the manager Garrett came out of nowhere and asked me if I was buying the car as another couple was interested. I get it, you're in the car selling business and only numbers matter to you but there were a thousand ways he could have handled the situation differently. He was incredibly rude, degrading, abrasive and disrespectful. The pressure he put on me right then and there was shocking. I had purchased mutilple Hyundai's and I have never been treated so poorly in my life and have never felt so uncomfortable as a customer. Your car selling tactics are absolutely absurd. I would rather pay more money and go to a different dealership than to give my business to this dealership and save a "few bucks". Tam was wonderful and an impressive person. Garrett is miserable and takes it out on his customers. He needs to learn a thing or two from Tam about respect and customer service. Trust the reviews as I would not recommend this place to anyone. I purchased a used vehicle from Anaheim Hyundai September 18, 2023. I traded my Jeep in as part of the deal. I was told by finance manager Amir that a check would mail the next day to the lending instituti 18, 2023. I traded my Jeep in as part of the deal. As of today September 27, 2023 the lending institution holding the note on my Jeep has not received the check. I contacted Anaheim Hyundai today and spoke with the salesman that sold me my vehicle. He advised me it would take at least a month for the finance department to send the check to get to my credit union. Meanwhile a payment is due soon. Efficiency and honesty are not tenets of Anaheim Hyundai's business model. Stay away from Anaheim Hyundai if you're looking to purchase a new or used car. If you chose to do business with them watch for the bait and switch on their advertised vehicles and don't believe a word that comes out of their staff members mouths. More

After 3 weeks of test driving the Hyundia Here is a POSITIVE one. I wanted to buy an EV for a job with lots of driving and I did lots of research. After 3 weeks of test driving the Hyundia Ionic 6, Kia's EV and Hyundia Ionic 5, it was apparent that the Ionic 5 made sense for my situation. Having test driven the Ionic 5 at Anaheim and trading many texts with salesman Garrett, I made him the pitch today: "Would Anaheim Hyundai honor the website price for the SEL Ionic 5." He admitted that the dealer is pretty adamant on the paint/interior protectant and the car alarm, which were not listed on their website. I pointed out that 5 other area Hyundai dealers were sticking to their website prices (yep - shop around and get quotes). He got the manager to commit to the website price. I promised to be in the showroom in an hour and asked that they ensure the SUV was charged. I showed up, no hassles at all. They had an even better deal that was agreed to on the phone - the Hyundai financing was for an additional $1,000 off more than any dealer was showing. 2 hours later, I was driving off very happy with my new Ionic 5 about $10k less than MSRP - it pays to buy at the end of the car year (September). Kudos to Omar (financing) with a really cool digital touchscreen DESKtop and no hassles in the finance offer. Garrett was super throughout - never aggressive, patient on the cars features, syncing my phone VERY EASY to work with. Lessons to others: Do your homework, shop around, and know your financial numbers! More

It was a long afternoon, but we could tell that Deter tried to save us more time by taking off on a run whenever he needed to perform a task away from his desk. The dealership itself trusted us to drive off with the car when it had become too late to initiate our bank transfer. Our five-star rating is subject to change if any future servicing is not up to par. More
