Dear Sales Manager (whose name I cannot seem to get from your employee), I spoke with you recently regarding pricing options for a Kona lease. The items listed require further discussion in order to take your employee), I spoke with you recently regarding pricing options for a Kona lease. The items listed require further discussion in order to take any offer into consideration: MSRP, residual value, money factor, total lease cost, hidden fees/additional unrequested items. I sat down with you and received very little clarity or flexibility on the aforementioned. With the exception of reallocating seemingly inflated prices over longer lease terms, spewing nonsensical jargon and scribbling numbers on scratch paper, I am confused about what deal you think you were offering me. Even more so, I am confused at your reaction to my refusal of such an ambiguous “offer”. You clearly misread me. Your rudimentary sales tactics were quite obvious, leaving my intelligence insulted and time wasted. You completely disrespected me with your misogynistic tone and I am – I use this word sparingly – flabbergasted by your storming away from our conversation whilst I was mid-sentence. A grown man behaving like a child is very off-putting. I understand leasing a Kona at this time may not render the lessee a great deal given the market and depreciation, and I fully accept that. Nonetheless, your professionalism and poise fell short of the standard I would expect from a Sales Manager, which isn’t very high to begin with. My experience was exemplary of the low ratings your dealership maintains – I hope that this is something you will work on, not only for potential buyers, but for your sales team. I would be remiss if I did not let you know that for those reasons I will not be considering Russell Westbrook Anaheim for any immediate or future needs. More

Lot of phone calls and emails trying to get me to go there, and I was told we are willing to negotiate, JUST COME OVER. I told Jacob (don't forget this name) I have 2 hours drive please confirm with me my budget is $25000 out the door, and your total is $27150, can you work with this price? His answer was yes, JUST COME OVER, Long story short this is what happened: 1. He lied about the negotiation. 2. The car I looked at was different. 3. He made me fill all kind of paper before I saw the details. 4. He added $3700 item to the price of the car that was never mentioned on the website, the many emails, and nor over the many phone calls. 5. I confronted him about all this stuff he said to me, I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU AFTER YOU GET HERE. 6. He insisted the price is great regardless of the $3700+tax. Over 4 hours of driving only to deal with lies and dishonesty by him and another person. I was furious and I recommend to never go to this dealership unless they email you and invoice with all details including vin number, and even then I would say give your business to someone who deserves it. F-Rating with Better Business Bureau. Buyer Beware, read all the reviews of the dishonesty and overcharges. I leased a 2021 Hyundai Kona, and they overcharged with me with hidden fees. They do not re read all the reviews of the dishonesty and overcharges. I leased a 2021 Hyundai Kona, and they overcharged with me with hidden fees. They do not return phone calls, and also Hyundai America Consumer Affairs contacted them also on my behalf and they won't return their phone calls. It is so sad reading all these negative reviews of wonderful nice people coming into this dealership, and they are swindled. More
Dishonesty leaves a terrible taste in your mouth! I bought a car (2021 Santa Fe). Love the car but I hate to be lied to and deceived!!! This dealer took me for $3,269 plus tax. You buy a car for a stic bought a car (2021 Santa Fe). Love the car but I hate to be lied to and deceived!!! This dealer took me for $3,269 plus tax. You buy a car for a sticker price of $40,760. By the time they get done with the contract. You are looking at $48,000! There’s the usual tax, licensing and registration fees. But be aware of the tactics this dealer uses. THE ADD ON PACKAGE!! GPS is an add on package!! I should have a say so whether I want that or not! $1,595!! Tint for $795! Yes! Tint!! Are you kidding me? $700 for surface protectant. xxx is that? It’s $700 they are adding to the price of the car!! $179 for a Nitrofill package!! I don’t need nitrogen in the tires and I don’t need the roadside that comes with it!! I have AAA!! To lie and tell me that these items are sold on all your cars is criminal. I’m a veteran who served our country. I’m also employed in the medical field. So very important with the Covid situation that I deal with on a daily basis as I deal with doctors and testing. I have dedicated my life to the people of this country. And this is the treatment that I get! To be told that they value your service when you are purchasing a car. That’s so much hypocrisy! The almighty dollar rears it’s ugly head and my years of service means absolutely nothing!! They give me a rebate for being a veteran only to stiff me with these charges that are NOT STANDARD!! Be careful of these deceitful unethical practices that I have experienced!! It’s not right!! More
Bait and switch. One price on the sticker and then you go in and they want to add anothe $3,500 for add ons that were on the car when it was traded in. They would not talk to me about money because I'm a wom in and they want to add anothe $3,500 for add ons that were on the car when it was traded in. They would not talk to me about money because I'm a woman who was buying the car. Would only talk with my son. Said if we were to buy, we must buy the maintenance package also for another $3000. Then when we started to leave the 2 salesmen who were around us started getting angry and mad and started raising their voices cause we shouldn't of wasted their time. Needless to say, we walked out and would never go back there no matter what. More
Tldr: Don’t go here. Lied about $500 dollar discount, damaged our first car, then sold us a used one (without us knowing), and are now trying to pay us to fix our review with the discount money. We ar damaged our first car, then sold us a used one (without us knowing), and are now trying to pay us to fix our review with the discount money. We arrived on a Monday night in December to purchase the car, completing the standard negotiation of prices, while going back and forth with the salesman. We had entered at around 6pm, and signing all the documents, we ended at 7pm. We agreed to buy a gray Hyundai Palisade. Below is a list of events deviating from this agreement: - We waited for thirty minutes so that they could “deliver” the car. Eventually three hours would pass. At 10pm, they told us our car was here but could not be drive off the lot because Hyundai had some problems with the registration. We were asked to return later. - The next day, they told us that there were further issues with the car without specifying exactly what happened. They said it would take another day, and then another over the phone until three days had passed, even AFTER we had paid. - We wanted to know what was going on, but they constantly blamed Hyundai. On the third day, they offered two solutions: 1. Get a discount on another gray Hyundai Palisade car with a damaged bumper, or 2. Take a white Hyundai Palisades with a $500 discount on the deposit. We chose option 2. - They essentially damaged our new car during the transportation process and were trying to still sell the repaired car back to us at a discount… - Amid all of this negotiation the manager, Chris, would hang up in our conversation after speaking condescendingly to us. - We also spoke with Hyundai’s customer service, and they told us that the dealer was wildly out of their service standards. The agent on the other end told us she’d be infuriated. - After all of this, emotions aside, we had negotiated an acceptable deal and as a low-income family, we thought it was worth the trouble. We did not think it could get worse. It did. They finally told us to come in four days later to re-sign the documents and purchase the white car. This was Friday, so four days total of waiting. Before we signed again, we specified exactly what we had agreed on: a $500 dollar discount on the deposit and a different color of the same model. - After we finished signing the documents, our salesman acted as if he was completely unaware of where the $500 was supposed to come from. In a tense exchange with my mother, he asked, “Why are you so obsessed with such a little thing?” He agreed to honor the deal because we were ready to walk out without a car (we are never getting this check). - They told us that our check would come in the mail, but the accounting department was closed so they had to send it the following Monday. We wanted a receipt/IOU to verify our interaction (included). - The following Monday, they call us and say it will take two weeks because Hyundai must clear the check. We called Hyundai to verify and they told us that the check was not coming from them, also noting that it was strange that it would take two weeks. - About a week later, I received a survey from Hyundai asking me to review the car. I posted something like what I am writing here. - The following week, I am contacted by the dealership saying our check was ready, but only if I amended or removed my review. Essentially, they are only holding the check hostage after promising it to us. - We contacted Hyundai to see if they could help us, but because it was a private dealership, they could not do anything. Hyundai also noted that the car we were sold was registered to another person – we were not the first owners of the car. Obviously, they did NOT tell us this. It is probably easier for us to amend reviews because money is tight. But their constant lying, dishonesty, lack of communication, and unprofessional standards are so egregious to the consumer that I’d rather let future customers be aware, even if its at the risk of not getting my own money back. I've had my run-ins with car dealers over the years, but dealing with Hyundai dealers had been especially painful. But this one seemed easy to deal with, had what I wanted and offered a fair price on my tra dealing with Hyundai dealers had been especially painful. But this one seemed easy to deal with, had what I wanted and offered a fair price on my trade-in. So we made a deal. They said it was coming in on the transport truck in a couple of days. After signing off (no money changing hands yet) they gave me the login for the car GPS (Hyundai Bluelink), where you can track the vehicle and unlock the doors, etc. That night I tracked it and Bluelink was showing that the car was in the back lot of the dealership. What gives? I emailed the sales rep, he said it's just a glitch and they'll fix it. The car is not there, you are pinging a different one. But that's a pretty disturbing glitch--if I can unlock and start someone else's car remotely, what's to stop someone else from doing that to mine? I drove down the next afternoon and found that it wasn't on the car dealers lot, but at a body shop behind it. The back end was all removed to fix damage; definitely damage they were never going to tell me about. When I called them on it, they denied it right up until I sent over all the pictures. Such xx. Such blatant lying. Never again. More

I’ve tried to contacted the GM Ken since December 20th and he won’t return my calls or emails. I have also tried to contact my original sales person and he won’t contact me either. We found out about Russell Westbrook Hyundai of Anaheim through autotrader.com. They had advertised a used car with its VIN number and all, for $16,000. I specifically asked the salesman (Amir) 3 times whe through autotrader.com. They had advertised a used car with its VIN number and all, for $16,000. I specifically asked the salesman (Amir) 3 times whether there was any other costs and he assured me that they would only add tax & licensing fees. After we test-drove the vehicle and went inside, I told them I had already secured financing at 2.8% for 48 months. He went back and forth to the "finance mgr" to get the monthly payments, and for some reason it was still way too high ($570/mo rather than $353/mo) for the price, down payment, loan term and interest rate. After a while, I found out they had added 72-month service and GAP insurance. Even after they deducted those, the monthly payments were still too high. So, finally Amir came back with the "manager" who told me that they had added the "after market adjustments" of $3,950 !?! The vehicle was a used vehicle advertised for a fixed price. The "after market additions" are already on the vehicle. Even when you look for a brand new car, all the additions are specified and added to the car price. No legitimate dealer should quote a price, then add other costs when calculating monthly payments! Shame on you Russell Westbrook! I thought today's consumer-conscious dealers were over these dirty "used-car salesman" tricks were used in 70's and 80's. Very disturbing!!! More
