Eric Martin was great Found the car I wanted online, sitting in their lot. It had just come in, so there weren't even pictures. The online marketing guy took some pictures, and we came down to drive it and ink the deal. A couple of things weren't ready for the car to be delivered, so Eric coordinated with my crazy schedule to deliver. He noticed a few things that weren't up to his/dealership standards and arranged for the car to be brought back and remedied. While it would have been better to be done in one visit, I respect a company that stands behind their product and makes it right. Only piece I would have avoided is the extended warranty sales pitch by some guy in a back office after we had inked the deal. They wouldn't tell me why I had to see him until he started his pitch. Probably didn't help I was in a hurry. My wife loves the vehicle, and that's the big deal! More
Best Chevrolet Dealer Around. I have been very fortunate to have had my 2013 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS serviced at Amesbury Chevrolet on two occasions in the past 12 months. Although I pu I have been very fortunate to have had my 2013 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS serviced at Amesbury Chevrolet on two occasions in the past 12 months. Although I purchased the car at the "Shop Us Last" Chevy dealer the team at Amesbury Chevrolet has serviced the vehicle as if it was their own. The first time it was in for service it turned out the part would take a few days to be delivered (turbo failed) so they insisted that I come down an take a free loaner. The second time in for service the part was available (PCV Valve Cover) and it was repaired by 10:00 AM! The entire team, sales, reception and service get an A+ rating from me and have easily earned my loyalty so when I make my next purchase I will honor them with the sale. Kind regards, Gene More
Recalls suck, but dealership didn't. I’m taking the time to write this review because every experience should be heard, good or bad. I wanted a new to me (used) pickup truck. I found a gr I’m taking the time to write this review because every experience should be heard, good or bad. I wanted a new to me (used) pickup truck. I found a great 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE online at Amesbury Chevy with 32k miles on it. It was priced well, right at market value. It was advertised as a Certified Pre Owned as well. Which was great extending the bumper to bumper warranty another 12 months/12,000 miles. I called the dealership to see if the truck was still available. Adam Enxing said it was. I told him I could come in the next day and test drive it. I requested he texted me proof he had a title in hand. I’ve been deceived in the past by dealers who offered a car for sale, and wanted me to leave a deposit and/or sign a P&S, but they didn’t have the title in hand. Getting the title in the mail usually takes a few weeks up to 6 ! Kind of a crappy way to do business but not disclosing to the customer you technically can’t sell the car until the title comes in. Adam said they don’t play those games and he texted me proof of the title in hand right away. I went to the dealership the next day and took it for a test drive. Adam disclosed there were 2 Recalls on the truck and that we could sign a P&S and leave a deposit, but the truck couldn’t be delivered until the recalls were fixed. I left a deposit and the recalls were fixed within a week of initially signing a P&S and leaving a deposit. It was frustrating having to wait. It wasn’t the dealers fault as the parts were back ordered because everyone in the country wants them. Adam followed up with me everyday with the status of where we were at. Brian Lehman the Business Manager was great. He said (and allowed me to put it in writing) if the truck wouldn’t be ready for delivery within a week they would refund my deposit (which obviously they would) and we could walk away friends. There was no pressure to finance with the dealership either as I explained I wanted to use my credit union. When I arrived to the dealership to take delivery, everything was exactly the way it should be. Car detailed, registered with plates. A 2nd remote starter and key were made for me just like we agreed. The dealership was down to earth and I had a good experience. I would go back. More
They string you along and then cant deliver on their promise Contacted the Sales manager regarding a 2016 SS, they had one in stock, it was supposedly sold, they said they could get a twin from another dealer... Contacted the Sales manager regarding a 2016 SS, they had one in stock, it was supposedly sold, they said they could get a twin from another dealer...NO SALE, they said they could get one from PA, it took 3 days to get an answer ...They CANT DELIVER.....I almost lost 9800 in rebate s waiting for them, they talk nice but are FULL OF HOT AIR.....to be polite...I own 10 cars personally Ive purchased from many dealers, but No one ever outright LIED TO ME like they did.i gave them a credit card IN FULL FAITH THE DEAL WOULD GO THROUGH!..Horse Hockey Thanx Alot..for NOTHING More

So I called in for a quote Alex gave me number thn GSM BRIAN called me for a deposite I was very honest and I told them both I can't play game and I don't have time to waist I told him what I'm looking for he face timed me !!! And said come in so we can make the deal I said before I leave send me the MSRP of the car do we make sure that we are on the same page so he did I had to go with my 2 kids (3 years old and 10 months old) so I can see the car and put a partial payment I had to drive 2 hours since I'm 55 mins away it took me 2 hours with traffic.arrived their met the sales person he was new didn't know the product which is ok but polite guy! I said ok get the plz the key of the suburban so I can see it went inside BRIAN said I can't have the car bcz they quoted me on the wrong car and I made sure that we agreed on the same MSRP on the phone anyway ! He asked the sales person to leave me and go help someone else do the sales person came and told me my GSM asked me to help these people so I was like so who is gonna help me he never responded and left so yes I was left for 15 mins by my self in the showrooms with no help !! With two kids!!! I left to my car it was very disrespectful and Brian saw me leaving and he turned his face I couldn't believe that a professional GSM will do that but apparently he doesn't deserve this post very disrespectful guy. Called back the get the voicemail of the owner Alex told me that he doesn't know his number and made me wait 8 mins and hang up one me thn sent me a Sms that the battery died sir you forgot that I called your store not your cell phone number . I Had to drive 2 hours back with the kids finally made it home so I called the second day to talk to the to talk to the owner he wasn't around I had a chance to talk to their controller she promised me to tell Brian and fix the situation . 10 mins later Ralph the sales manager called me and ask me to give him only 20 mins to fix the situation and call me with a number so we can do this deal it's been 10 days and never heard back from this dealership !!! Well this dealer doesn't deserve a chance everyone is very unprofessional and liar don't go their you will be waiting your time so now we bought our new car but of course we not servicing their we are moving closer to amesbury Chevy but no they are a waist of time they just wanna get you to the door don't go there and I promise you guys anyone that I know I'm gonna share my bad experience with we ended up but getting a great deal from colonial great customer service !! We are extremelly disatisfied with the service and feel like the dealership failed in customer service. We formally complained to the manager at the dealership and with Chevy's headquarters. We have been turned off from our experience and will probably not buy or lease a Chevy in the future because of the extremely rude behavior of the employee. More
