They were clearly committed to helping us obtain the options we wanted, provided excellent guidance in making decisions regarding those for which we had uncertainty and there was no sales pressure whatsoever. It was a pleasurable experience and we got exactly what we wanted. More
Good Job They diagnosed the problem and took care of it. They loaned me a car to drive while the work was being done. They are always friendly and helpful. I had a great experience with them and found them to be helpful, honest and extremely competitive with their prices. I had what could of been a difficult situation with the service department, however Tom Rodgers, the Service Manager and Rick Vidal the Sales Manager bent over backwards to fix the situation and make sure that I was happy. As a result I bought a new car from Alpine and was extremely pleased by the entire experience. This dealership prides itself on being a family run operation and it shows in their customer service. They go out of their way to treat their customers fairly and earn repeat business. The customer service that’s provided by a local family business is far superior to that which you will ever receive from large publicly traded auto dealerships. Rick Vidal specifically deserves credit for everything he did to help me in purchasing my new car. He is proactive, trustworthy, and made the entire process simple and easy. I strongly recommend you speak to Rick if you are looking for a new car. More
Watch out for the games!! I went into Alpine to check out a truck that I saw online. It was definitely “sub-par” as it hadn’t been cleaned, detailed ect, it was a xxx. I just I went into Alpine to check out a truck that I saw online. It was definitely “sub-par” as it hadn’t been cleaned, detailed ect, it was a xxx. I just wanted to take a quick peak at the other trucks they had in effort to lower my payment / get a truck that could pull more than the Tacoma I was driving. I found a 2007 Chevy that was a good looking truck. I drove it, loved it and asked for some numbers. That’s when one of the “managers”, Gene, got involved. Typical car sales lines about how I got max for my trade .. yada, yada, yada.. So all I hear from Gene is how he is “taking heat” from his GM about what he offered me for my truck (Not my issue ya idiot, I didn’t make the deal). He then proceeds to tell me that his price on the internet was wrong but he would honor it (as he should). So as I am thinking about this truck, he is going on and on about this high strung, xxxxxx GM of his who’s buddy runs a Toyota dealership and is telling him he’s crazy for making this deal (again, not my issue). I take the vehicle, drive it home, get it inspected, bring it back and let him know there is a few minor things wrong with it and he took this as an opportunity to spout off at me again about how this is the deal of the century as I noticed he had lowered my trade value by $1000 bucks saying that he just couldn’t make the first deal and that he was “ALL IN” on this deal because it was SOOOOO great. So my wife and I decide to buy the truck. After the sale Gene apologized about being a xxxxxx during the sales process. The next day, I am driving the truck down the road and the power steering starts whining like a sick cat. I called Gene and explained and he mentioned that he “Took a copy” of the issues the truck had and I knew about these things before I bought the truck and that I was “Strong Arming” him like Frank Azar. Unfortunately, the power steering was never an issue and its on me to fix it I am glad we bought the warranties to take care of some of these issues but I wish I would have bought the truck from a reputable dealer. I can’t help you offered me too much, your GM is high strung and was riding you like a show pony about my trade price, your internet price was wrong and that you are too weak to back up your products. Don’t shop Alpine Buick GMC.. Not reputable at all. I would buy a car from a place like “The Sharpest Rides” before I would shop here ever again. More
Stopped in to buy a SUV. Walked away when we did not like price. They called us a week later and ask what they could do to close the deal. We gave them our bottom price. They said they would talk to like price. They called us a week later and ask what they could do to close the deal. We gave them our bottom price. They said they would talk to manager and call us back. They called back and said manager said yes and to come in to sign papers. Since we live 45 minutes away I asked if they would email me the papers and we would sign and bring them in with us. No problem they said. I should have them in 15 minutes. I waited. Called after 1 hour and told them I had not received them. They said they would go check and call me back in 5 minutes. Received papers with all the wrong prices. I call and they said they were sorry they gave the manager the wrong papers. They would get that corrected right now and call me back in five minutes. This went on all afternoon. We started this conversation at 10:14 a.m. Thirteen times we talked on the phone. I have caller I.D. and call history to prove it. Each time I would say "have not received the papers yet." He would reply "Let me go talk to my manager and see why they were not sent." We also went over the numbers twice during those 13 calls to verify the correct figures. By 6:00p.m. I was so upset I had my husband call him. So, after talking to him all day long and waiting by the computer for the papers we find out that he had not gotten approval from his manager on that price. That he was just trying to get us to come in so they could argue on price. So, to sum up the facts. He wasted my whole day and cause unacceptable stress for something he did not even have permission to promise. More
