I have never been given the run around like this before in my life. I arranged the deal over the telephone CASH. It started with Shelby not knowing anything and Tim not knowing much more. I would be told in my life. I arranged the deal over the telephone CASH. It started with Shelby not knowing anything and Tim not knowing much more. I would be told I would be called back and not here from them again for some time. They were in a hurry for me to get there I live 6.5 hours away. I started speaking to Shelby first thing in the morning and took till the middle of the afternoon before they were going to send me the paper work to sign and obtain my credit card information for deposit. Then after i gave her my card info she told not to worry about the other paper work. I told her I would be at the Dealership at 830 A.M., when i arrived the next morning the truck had just been pulled into the service bay to be inspected. The Service Tech was very helpful allowing me to look at the truck. When I contacted Shelby she was unaware of the location of the truck I told her it was in the service Department. The tech got the truck down off the lift for a test drive. I drove the truck and it had minor things wrong which is understandable. When i returned I told Shelby I still wanted the truck but the exhaust had a leak and the trip computer did not work if they would fix it to. I was told no problem. I was told the brakes needed new pads as well and it would be ready in four hours. (Which i didn’t understand because, I had already paid a deposit and they knew I had to drive several hours. Why this was not completed already?) I was loaned a car to drive and see my kids who lived a few miles from the dealership while i waited for the repairs to be made. Thanks (I was in a two seater car when i arrived from out of state.) When i arrived back at the dealership at 200 pm the truck was just completed. I was then told that the only thing done to the truck was the brakes. I was told that it was a used truck and the other items did not affect safety and were not completed. I was very frustrated at that point because I felt I had been lied to in order to complete the sale. I was also told that it would cost 1500 bucks to repair just the leak in exhaust. (Truck is in the shop now and it was only $570 to replace the WHOLE exhaust system.) Shelby was with another sales person at this point and I seemed to get the impression they were trying to keep the sale from happening, felt they may have been offered more for the truck by another party than the price we agreed upon. After some thought I did decided to purchase the truck. I told the manager that I did not want to deal with Shelby anymore and would buy the truck. Shelby's use of the word "AWSOME" was excessive to the point of irritability. I was put in touch with Lete who has very understanding of the situation and was super helpful. Lete made a bad situation better. I don’t understand why a CASH deal had to be so bad it took the fun out of getting another vehicle. After closing the deal while on my LONG drive home I received two phone calls from Shelby the first I ignored the second time i answered it. Selby had been trying to contact another customer in regards to another vehicle. I would be curious as to the other sales that could be lost to her incompetency. I hope Lete is an example of the rest of your sales staff, because otherwise you will not stay in business long. I am a District Manager for the fourth largest energy service company in the world at the end of the day you are only as good as the people who represent you. In summary I did receive a good deal on the truck and am happy with the purchase, but Shelby has left me in bad taste with your Dealership. I would like to thank Lete again for trying to make a bad situation better. More
My experience at Mike Shaw was very good, I was happy with the treatment I received and very pleased with the vehicle I purchased from them. Will, my salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable of the ca with the treatment I received and very pleased with the vehicle I purchased from them. Will, my salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable of the car I was interested in and he made sure I was aware of all its options and features. With past dealerships I've visited most salespersons don't know answers to the questions I had or just kind of brushed them off. I did not suffer that type of interaction at Mike Shaw at all. Will took extra time to ensure my wife had the perfect vehicle for her as far as trim, options and features and he made sure she was completely happy with the vehicle before purchase. As for myself I knew exactly what I was looking for and Will made sure the car would be a good fit for me and it was something I could be happy with. Overall Mike Shaw is a great dealership with friendly personnel and a wide variety of vehicles to choose from, I love them and can't wait to go back when the time is right. More

Laura was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic in telling me about the Buick La Crosse I was interested in. She answered every question I had and encouraged me to not hesitate to ask any other questi telling me about the Buick La Crosse I was interested in. She made it clear that she wanted my experience at Mike Shaw to be a pleasant one and it was. She also helped me make choices that were right for me. I really appreciated that she never tried to talk me into something I didn't want or need. I would recommend Mike Shaw to my friends and suggest that Laura was a great person to get in touch with. All the employees that I came in contact with were so friendly and welcoming. My new car was beautiful after the detailing and I was proud to drive it home. I think I am really going to love driving it. I would love to deal with this dealer again the next time I need a new car and will tell all my friends, too. More
