Mike Shaw's Service department helped me with warranty and extended warranty work on my 2010 Chevy Traverse. I didn't even purchase my car there and they treated me like their most important cli warranty and extended warranty work on my 2010 Chevy Traverse. Very disappointed!! I was working with Jim, the used Very disappointed!! I was working with Jim, the used car manager, on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited, with 130K miles. He wouldn't budge on price... Very disappointed!! I was working with Jim, the used car manager, on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited, with 130K miles. He wouldn't budge on price...ok, ok, but after pulling up the carfax, and doing some personal research, I found out the timing belt had not been done at the 90K service (of course this wasn't disclosed to me by the dealer). I went back to Jim and said this is a long overdue service and will cost me nearly $1K to have done. I asked if he would work with me on price and the answer was a flat out no! He said I won't find another 4Runner Limited in this good of condition for less $, he said the vehicle will sell at the price stated. Well Jim, just want to let you know that I purchased a 2004 4Runner Limited, with 99K miles, in better condition, with the timing belt completed, for $500 LESS than YOU were offering yours! I sure hope you disclosed to the buyers of your 4Runner that the timing belt may break at anytime? More

I went to Mike Shaw GMC today to buy a truck.... go figure... I ended up with an SUV. I never by Chevy's.... go figure, I bought a Chevy Equinox. Lester was awesome. He made me feel comfortable r figure... I ended up with an SUV. I never by Chevy's.... go figure, I bought a Chevy Equinox. Lester was awesome. He made me feel comfortable right away, always seeking to see if I had any needs, such as water, coffee, soda.... When I had been there for several hours, he asked if I wanted anything and I told him I was hungry, so he went out and got me dinner. He made me feel important, like I was as important as someone coming into buy the most expensive car in the dealership. He worked with me and made it happen, when I have been looking for a car or a truck for over a month. He took into account what my needs were and showed me what I needed to meet my needs. (and it wasn't that truck that I came in looking for). Lester has a good feel for people and works to get them the right vehicle for them, After I bought the car and was on the way home, I called my daughter and told her what I had done and she was thrilled. She said that she got the best deal when she bought her Suburban from Mike Shaw. So, all in all you get my input and a little extra from an unsolicited friend.
