Even if we had found a vehicle we liked at one of the other dealerships, it is unlikely we would have purchased from them because their salespeople were your typical "used car salespeople." We had a completely different experience with Brad. He was friendly and down-to-earth, and he definitely was not your typical used car salesman. He invited us in for some water or a soda while he showed us the vehicles he had available on his computer. Brad had a great personality and easily understood what we were looking for and helped us find just the right vehicle for our family. It is easily the best car buying experience I have ever had, and I would recommend Allen Turner Hyundai and Brad Rankin to anyone. Thank you for the wonderful experience. More

The sales staff was extremely nice and genuinely concerned about our comfort in offering coffee, drinks, ect. I would reccomend the dearlership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle, new or used. I would suggest talking to Jason Diaz, he is a great salesperson and I believe is fair in his dealings, (he likes to fish) anyone who likes to fish can be worked with. PS: Bass fishing. More

We had gone to the Ford delership to look at cars and found a Hyundai Vera Cruz that we really liked. We then went to the local Hyundai Used car lot and met Brad our sales person. He was very kind to us and seemed very honest! We really appreciated that since we had to find something that day to replace our van. He didn't try to show us cars out of our price range, was not pushy, and seemed to genuinely want to help us! Everybody we met there seemed very nice and happy! The person that helped with our financing was also very kind! Our overall experience was wonderful and we would recommend Brad and the dealership to our friends if we lived there!! More

I asked to take it to an independant mechanic but John, the pre-owned sales manager, told me not to worry about it, that the dodge warranty would cover everything. After putting up with every cheap car salesman tactic--including the old "oh, your're really taking me to the woodshed" routine-- I finally thought I had a decent price and purchased the car. I took it to get the oil changed and was informed all the tires had dry rot and were worn down to the nub. Raised this issue and they fixed it, which was good. Of course, I had to make a huge issue of it on social media to get a call back, but they made it right in the end. Took it in not even a week later because the steering wheel was vibrating way more than it should. They told me to take it to my local Dodge dealer to have it looked at. Curiously, one of the mechanics asked me how much I paid for it, which seems like kind of an inappropriate thing to ask a customer. On the way back while driving on I-10 the front end of the car fell off. Grill, bumper, everything. Had it towed and the Dodge mechanic told me the car had been in a wreck before. I raised this issue with the other sales manager, Michael, and he told me he had no obligation to pay for the repairs because the car did not have a reported accident in the auto check report. He then went on to talk to me like I was an idiot by telling me there are bumpers all over I-10 from sports cars being low to the ground. In the glovebox there is a piece of paper that is filled out saying the car was looked over and inspected. Surely they noticed the bent radiator and everything underneath the car that showed obvious signs of an accident, including the crack in the bumper that I didnt notice until I got home. These are things you are supposed to disclose to a buyer. Not disclosing information like that is considered fraud. I already have a complaint filed with the better business bureau but I feel I need to tell my story so potential customers can make their own decision on whether or not this is a credible dealer. In the end, I wish I had purchased a DeLorean so I could go back in time and stop my past self from doing business with Allen Turner Pre-Owned. Unfortunately, the tires would probably pop and the front end of the car would fall off before I could reach the required speed off 88mph to go back in time. Just so I'm clear: This review is only for the pre-owned department. For all I know, the new sales department might be full of honest to goodness people. UPDATE II: 27JUN14: After contacting Allen Turner Hyundai about the tires, I was immediately contacted by Chris Jones who promised to cover the cost of the replacement tired. Yet another example of Allen Turner Hyundai going above and beyond the call of duty. UPDATE 27JUN14: Turns out the tires on the Challenger were dry rotted and worn down so they need to be replaced to the tune of $900. I would just say make sure you know what you are buying and do all of your research before going in, as it will make both you and the dealers life so much easier. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and came away with what I thought was a fair deal. I came in to look at a 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T with 28,100 miles, listed for $28055. So, I went in, took a test drive, and then sat down and talked numbers. Now, John, Craig, and Mr. Turner, if you're reading this, these are fair criticisms on things I feel you could change and improve. The first red flag to me was when Craig came in with a four square sheet (it wound up not being used, which is good, because I would've been out the door as soon as he started writing on it). This is an outdated, and unfortunately, often used tool to confuse and take advantage of the consumer. Honestly, if you're still using this in 2014 I expect you to be wearing a cheap suit and have a super wacky inflatable guy out front. Any potential customer reading this: only focus on the price of the car you're buying and the trade in. The other numbers are meant to confuse you. Next we sat down and talked numbers. Craig said they absolutely could not come off the price because that was what they paid for it (an aside: I know you bought it at an auction. I can look this up on the internetz. I still dont believe you paid $28,000 for a used challenger at an auction). I happened to see that the previous day the Challenger was listed at $26900, so I asked what happened to that price. I sat and waited for a half an hour and the sales manager, John (who reminded me of a young Kevin Bacon for some odd reason), said he would honor the price, he came up with an explanation about how the market automatically changes the price of the car when cheaper models are sold. Now, that may have been the case but, I still haz the internetz, so I was able to look it up and see that in fact there were the same year and model with lower miles for cheaper. They even had automatic transmissions, which led to my favorite ridiculous statement I've heard in a long time: "Oh, thats because manual transmissions are more expensive in sports car". No, no they are not. Automatics are more expensive in all cars because they cost more to produce so that lazy people dont have to shift. I was then offered $10,000 on my 2014 Chevy Cruze, but luckily I had an offer for $12,200 from a different dealer(yes, guys, that absolutely was true) so I got that to where I was satisfied. Next came the financing and honestly, they knocked it out of the park. I was able to get financing that matched what I could've gotten at my own bank. I'm very happy with my rate. Now for the bad. I was finishing up signing the contract and John, the Finance one, says very nonchalantly "and sign here to waive your right to a jury trial". Ummm, no. Never, ever sign away your right to a jury trial. Arbitration is meant to handle business to business disputes. Arbitration is final and cannot be appealed and will side with the business 95% of the time so they will get hired again. In fact, I'm sure Mr. Turner knows all about it. In the early 2000's the auto manufacturers tried to make it so that all disputes dealers had with them had to be settled with arbitration. Now, I wasn't there, but I'm willing to bet Mr Turner drove as fast as his Hyundai could take him to his local elected officials to dispute this and it worked. In 2002 the Supreme Court ruled that dealers did not have to settle disputes with their manufacturers and they still had a right to legal recourse. So I ask: if it wasn't good enough for the dealers to go through, why are you trying to make your customers sign away their rights? Is this what is meant by "protecting the consumer", the phrase that is commonly touted when trying to get Tesla banned? Anyways, the deal almost fell through because I was getting berated by Matt and John (Sales Manager) about why I wouldn't sign away my rights and how they didn't plan on ever taking me to court. Its not about you guys taking me to court, its about if I want to go to court. I have no intention to, but its silly to sign away that right for the reasons I've listed above. But in the end, the deal went through and I'm happy with my car. I think my only complaint is I was supposed to get a new battery but I was told they did not have one on hand and to go to Chris Myers in Daphne and ask for Steve Campbell and he would take care of me. Well, I went there right after I bought the car and it turns out his name is Scott Campbell and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about when I said I was sent there to get a new battery. Soooooo, yeah....but other than that, everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed my purchase experience. I know it sounds like I'm slamming them, but all in all, it was a good experience. I just feel some things could be improved (especially the four square......why are you still using that?!?!?) and I hope you take my critcisms and learn from them. More

We always return to them because of the great customer service and no sales pressure. Hyundai makes a great product line and we have never had any issues with any of their vehicles. Then there is the great warranty in the event we ever do. I started with an Accent in high school and have worked up to the Santa Fe to meet our family needs. I will miss our recently traded Sonata, gas mileage was great! Love our new Santa Fe! Thank you! More
