I actually started shopping for my 2024 Tahoe LS in Orlando! Why the LS? Because it has LOTS of nice amenities even at this base trim level! And I did NOT want leather seating (it's not the leather -- Orlando! Why the LS? Because it has LOTS of nice amenities even at this base trim level! And I did NOT want leather seating (it's not the leather -- it's me). Why Orlando? I was mistakenly assuming that the bigger automotive market there should mean better volume pricing! Boy was I wrong. After negotiating with the Orlando dealership for about 10 days, I was dismayed with their "best deal" of $7,510 above MSRP including my trade-in allowance of $1,000. Now I'm not a skilled negotiator, but my uncle in Ohio is! He's been selling Chevrolets there for over 50 years and I learned a thing or two about the car business from him over the years. I knew there was a better deal than what the Orlando guys said was their "best". So I searched the internet and visited dealerships from Panama City to Pensacola. I had problems just finding an available Tahoe LS. My search ended at Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview. That's where I found the very same Tahoe LS trim with the very same MSRP on the sticker. So I put in an on-line inquiry from the website and got a prompt response from April. We texted info over the next (first) day. I sent a few pictures of my trade-in, some information about where I live, and she quoted me a price the next (second) day. I really prefer to shoot for a nice, round number for my "out-the-door" price, so I asked for that -- and the Allen Turner Team (because I KNOW April didn't do this alone) hit my number! We had a deal! Steve was the man who actually delivered my new Tahoe that very same (second) day. So here's my bottom line: I got the Tahoe I wanted for $7,000 less "out-the-door" (including a $2,500 trade-in allowance). IT'S TRUE! Chevrolets Really Do Cost Less In Crestview More
