I would not recommend Allen Chevrolet to anyone after what they did with my vehicle as well as their complete lack of communication and disrespect from management. My 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 had an oil what they did with my vehicle as well as their complete lack of communication and disrespect from management. My 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 had an oil leak from the rear main seal. Allen Chevy assured me they could fix it back on February 18, 2024. Shortly after bringing my truck back home after they fixed the oil leak, the truck began significantly leaking oil again. Allen Chevy explained they aren’t sure why this would happen and offered to fix it again and promised me a loaner vehicle in the meantime as long as I scheduled my service appointment on the specific date they requested. Well, I took my truck in to be serviced and they couldn’t give me a loaner vehicle. They had my truck in their shop for 24 days, finally getting me in a loaner after almost 3 weeks. They explained that the rear main seal was leaking where the rear main seal housing meets the oil pan, so both needed to be replaced. Once service told me my truck was done and the leak was completely repaired, I went to pick it up and returned the loaner vehicle. Immediately after getting my keys and walking out to my truck in their parking lot, there was a large puddle of oil under my truck as it was still actively leaking. I went back inside to tell them, and the service member I was working with (Dane) had already left out the back door for the day and the receptionist told me they can’t put me back in a loaner vehicle but they would be happy to take my truck back to fix it again. At this point, this was completely unacceptable. I had to take my truck home as I didn’t have a way home. The truck leaked and burned oil the entire drive and left a large oil puddle in my driveway. Also, they performed an alignment on my truck after resealing the oil pan and left my steering wheel completely crooked after performing the alignment. They damaged a CV shaft in the process and charged my warranty company for this damage which is fraudulent. I called Allen Chevy back the next day and spoke with Dane, he tried telling me that it was a rain puddle I was seeing on the ground. Which is completely inappropriate. My truck was entirely inoperable at this point as it leaked half a gallon of oil out overnight. So, after charging GM and my warranty company for fixing the truck twice now, it’s more inoperable than it was initially when taking it in because the mechanics messed it up so bad. The service department did not include details on the report I was given after they serviced my truck which should have provided me with details on what they completed on the vehicle. When speaking with Dane, I explained to him that I wanted the manager Brad Porter to return my phone call as this is who I was told I can discuss my complaint with. I never received a phone call back from Brad, despite calling him a few times and leaving a message requesting that he return my call. This dealership is not only extremely negligent, but extremely disrespectful. They significantly depreciated the value of my vehicle due to them messing it up so bad. I will deter every single person I know from ever using this dealership because I certainly don’t want this to ever happen to someone else. This has put a major hardship on my family as my truck was our family vehicle. And Allen Chevy doesn’t seem to care about that at all, as no one STILL has not contacted me back or will answer my phone calls. More
If you want to be lied to and embarrassed in front of the dealership with your credit this is the dealership they do not care and will you waste your time and will let everyone in the lobby know your situati dealership with your credit this is the dealership they do not care and will you waste your time and will let everyone in the lobby know your situation. I do take responsibility for what I owe but don't text me all day saying you're going to pay double for my vehicle and then have your sales manager come out and yell all my information to the lobby, I would be more understanding if you talked to me directly instead of yelling, But I will not be recommending this place to anyone also hire more guys like tony if you scare off future customers. They never gave me an estimate nor diagnosed my problem They billed me over 600 for not recreating problem.. When the problem happened not two miles after i picked my suv up.. I reported back to dealersh They billed me over 600 for not recreating problem.. When the problem happened not two miles after i picked my suv up.. I reported back to dealership i was told they would call me back and never did and would not take my calls.. Employees used my vehicle for personal use over night. They stole my parts from my vehicle and refused to return to me. Worst service and customer service I have ever delt with. I will not recommend ever giving them a chance to steel from you and charge you for work they had not done. Tried to force me to sign the invoice saying I refused my parts back.in order to pickup my vehicle. Management refused to do anything refused to turn my vehicle over until I paid almost $850.00 in total. I had to take it tp another dealership because I had 5 errors come up on my suv from their shop to my house and would not shift past second gear.. That dealership found a list of problem parts on my vehicle most still under warranty. ALLEN CHEVY will not return my calls or refund my money. Another emoyee offered to refund my money then told me that they would give me a discount of the amount I spent in service center towards another vehicle. A business that should be shut down for dishonesty. I WILL EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM GM DO TO THE DEALERSHIPS LACK OF SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. GM customer service said they could do nothing about it. The state of Michigan suggested to file a law suite and to let them know the outcome. What a shame that business like this are allowed to do this to customers. More
HORRIBLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE! I made an appointment (appt date 7/20/22) to drop off my 2017 Malibu to have a known GM issue fixed; my car was alerting me to “shift to park” afte I made an appointment (appt date 7/20/22) to drop off my 2017 Malibu to have a known GM issue fixed; my car was alerting me to “shift to park” after i already put it in park. I was expecting my car back the next day (Thursday 7/21). When i didn’t receive a call by the end of the day i called Nicole, my service rep. She stated they hadn’t gotten to it, but would get it 1st thing the following morning. Next day, Friday i spoke with Brian. He stated they ran diagnostics but hadn’t gotten to it, but would get to it 1st thing Monday morning, and It would be about $420.00 for parts and labor. I agreed, but asked if he could make sure it wasn’t covered under any warranties, that i didn’t want to spent $420.00 unnecessarily. (Note: car only has 22,600 miles & I’m the original owner…. not sure that matters 🤷♀️) Monday 7/25 rolls around, nobody calls me. So Tuesday, around 3pm, i called & spoke with David. He asked me to hold & said he would go check on my car. He got back on the phone about 10 minutes later saying he was busy dealing with a customer and would call me back, he didn’t want to leave me on hold any longer. He never called back. 😞 Wednesday (7/27) at 3pm i called, Gavin answered. He said Nicole was busy cashing out 3 customers, but she would call me back. She never called. 🧐 Thursday (7/28) around 10:30am i called Nicole, she said, and i quote “Diagnostics has been ran, would you like us to fix it?” 😠 My car has been there over a week, not 1 call from the service department, except Friday when i spoke with Brian. Nicole stated she was “camping Fri-Tuesday so it wasn’t her fault”. I understand employees go on vacation, but unless her absence made the whole dealership close down & fall apart, i don’t understand. At this point, i’ve lost all faith in Allen Chevrolet Cadillac! I told Nicole that I would be by in a few hours to get my car, that 8 days at the dealership was long enough. I was 8 days without a car for an issue that should have taken 1 day, now i have to schedule service somewhere else. What a huge inconvenience & no one seemed to care. More
