We took our Chevy Traverse in for repairs. We had been going to another dealer but came to feel we were being mishandled. Allen C and C took exceptionally great care of us and for a very good price. Service manager was awesome. Arranged for an inspection and repaired the issue the same day. Provided me with a ride back to my campsite, and brought me back to the dealership when the work was completed. and repaired the issue the same day. When the GM parts were found to be a 2 week wait, he researched and offered aftermarket parts from a local parts store. Got me back on my camping schedule with minimal impact. It continued with my dealings with the excellent service from the service department and body shop, and Chuck's crew in express oil change and tires. When time came to look into upgrading to a Cadillac Tim had promoted to sales manager so he turned me over a young and very informed salesman, Derek Berg. We interacted about this purchase for over a year. The process involved a number change of heart and supply limitations but Derek was very supportive throughout. More

On Monday 6/29, my husband called to schedule a service appt for our new-to-us Chevy Silverado with Tim for Friday 7/3 at 730am. We had just bought the vehicle from Bill Crispin 2 weeks prior and noticed o appt for our new-to-us Chevy Silverado with Tim for Friday 7/3 at 730am. We had just bought the vehicle from Bill Crispin 2 weeks prior and noticed our speakers rattled. We did not buy from Allen Chevrolet because we were uninterested in their selection of trucks. Our truck, at the time, was under bumper to bumper warranty until the following day, considering we had a trip planned that would put us over mileage. Cool, that’s why we brought the truck in while still under warranty. My husband arrived and Tim listened to our speaker for 10 seconds and said “I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but take it back to Bill Crispin where you bought it. They might fix it.” Okay, why did you even schedule us an appointment and waste our time? Absolutely unprofessional. Not to mention, Bill Crispin is located an hour away. We are Monroe locals and were planning on using Allen chevy for the lifetime of our truck. We will absolutely not ever use Allen Chevrolet nor recommend them to even a worst enemy. It took me 5 consecutive calls to reach Tim that day because I was panicked that our truck would no longer be under warranty if not serviced that day. I kept getting his voicemail every time I called so I put my male coworker on the phone to see if he could reach Tim. My coworker was immediately connected with Tim. Either Tim was dodging my calls or Tim is displaying characteristics of Sexism. I will let you decide. Tim only took responsibility for poor service once I asked him to apologize and reassured me he will look into our matter and get back with us to see if the speaker is covered. No one called me. I had to personally call for an update. I mean???? I filed a formal complaint with Chevy for awful customer service. TWICE. Tim stoddard in sales followed up with me and was WONDERFUL. Thought this circus was turning around however, Tim referred me to Mr. John Allen himself. John Allen called, accused me of threatening him because I said if this is not covered for some reason at this point, he needs to make it right and pay for it anyways due to the massive mistreatment and inconvenience or I will blow up with reviews. I guess that’s considered a threat these days? Laughable. Whenever I asked Allen a direct question and he replied “I understand your concern” instead of owning the mistake and answering my warranted concerns. When I asked him why my male co-worker was connected with Tim immediately and I was not he replied: “Our phones do not ring pink or blue.” Classy. I’m not an idiot Mr. Allen. I am an educated, professional woman. Good thing I will be taking my business to Dave White Chevrolet in Toledo Ohio, who asked me to come in ASAP and reassured me they would cover whatever cost. Save your time and money and DO NOT go to Allen Chevrolet located on Monroe St in Monroe MI. Happy to answer any questions management has about my experience, IF and WHEN they even care to follow through on ONE promise. Senior advisors with Chevy are now in contact with me about this absolute train wreck. More
