Dear AllStar Volvo Service Team, As a military veteran and a dedicated Volvo owner for many years, I've come to expect a certain caliber of service from the Volvo brand. Having owned four Volvos, my exper and a dedicated Volvo owner for many years, I've come to expect a certain caliber of service from the Volvo brand. Having owned four Volvos, my experiences, especially in the DFW area, have always been of the highest standard. Regrettably, my recent interactions with your Baton Rouge location have been deeply unsettling. My initial visit for a sunroof warranty repair was fraught with challenges. After an 8-hour wait, my sunroof issue remained unresolved, and a simple request for an oil change was overlooked. It was only upon my insistence that these matters were hastily addressed. Such a prolonged wait, only to have basic services neglected, is far from the standard I associate with Volvo. The concerns didn't end there. On my subsequent visit on August 11th for an air conditioning issue, my car was not returned until the 23rd. Alarmingly, I discovered the activation of the parking assist and auto start service lights upon collection —issues that were definitively absent when I initially handed over my vehicle. The emergence of these issues, coupled with a glaring lack of communication or any provided repair estimate, suggests not only a rushed job but also the possibility of these problems being introduced during the dealership's handling of my vehicle. In further discussions, the technician cited workload pressures as a potential reason for these oversights and made an unwarranted assumption about my repair preferences. Such assumptions and lack of thoroughness are not reflective of the professionalism I expect. To add insult to injury, my car was returned in a dirtier state than when I left it. While I can understand certain constraints due to staffing, returning a customer's vehicle in a less clean state is simply inexcusable and further underscores a lack of attention to detail. AllStar Volvo Service, it's imperative to understand that the essence of customer service goes beyond mere repairs. It's about respect, communication, and a commitment to excellence. I appreciate you both, and I highly recommend anyone reading my review to reach out to them in sales They are the type of people making things happen, and, till you decide to buy to not, they won't overwhelm you, but at the same time, this dealer is not window shopping. They are ready to sell you the car your like as long as you serious about the buying process i got my car with negotiating some services i need to be done there financed, and the car went off media ads right away all of this under 48 hours again i am in Oregon and the east coast. The last step is signing the paperwork on Monday and overnight it A few things help you have no surprises ask whomever you are buying the car from, video from their phone so their editing videos to cover something limited is , or even better, facetime and see the car buy a car either CPO or still have a warranty and if the car was not been services for more than 6 months, have the brand dealer do oil change services and request your free Multipoint inspection free ( p.s Volvo needs to be checked by Volvo, a jaguar in jaguar so the multipoint check is binding for the brand itself ( Volvo north America, jaguar north America etc.) ALL Star Volvo and Hyundai have been amazing Highly recommended, especially for out-of-state clients More
